Hey guys. Not happy this morning. Ended up breaking 2 of her fan leaves by accident its at that time again whwre I am stupidly Ill prepared!! Argh she is too big for her room and I still have Mylar to finish inside with! How do I tie Chester? Just bend her over and get her to grow sideways? New seeds delivered yesterday(see pics) Germing white widow ATM.
I generally tie down the center cola of all my plants ... below the top or the second set of leaves where there appears to be an open space you gently bend the top to where it points in a different direction than where you are using it for support .... you want to go full 90* bend ... then keep it bent w/ either any sort of tie that you can attach to the pot or much lower branches ... you could also pinch the stem in the same spot to weaken it and then bend it carefully and allow it to flop over w/o a tie .... the first technique is called LST and the second 'pinch' technique is called super cropping ... either should temporarily slow the center cola and allow the side branches to 'catch up' ... good luck ... plant looks pretty good w/o anything but you sound like it's outgrowing it's space ...
Hey man! Thanks for the info muchly appreciated! Will tie her over tonight and see what happens I don't know why I put her in such a large pot now ive gotten this far... Should have just done more in smaller pots ?. Notice from your posts of this strain the huge difference in bushyness and growth speed/size compared to mine! Still have a few more bubbleicious though!
I give mine a lot more light ... small pots generally produce small plants so you kind of have to judge by your space and desired harvest ... although you can grow an auto in a shorter space I prefer a space w/ no less than 5' for height w/ min of 2'x2' for 1 plant ...
Broke ANOTHER f@&£cling leaf this morning!! The that's 3 fan leaves now but had never last any Before now! Tied her over and she obviously turned to the light I'm getting really nagged atm cause i spent so much time and effort this time around and it still ain't going right white widow seed has started rooting going to buy a new light Friday try and sort the space out and just fill with smaller plants
She looks nice and healthy to me, but I'm new so take that for whatever it's worth to ya. I have seen spiral LST shapes where people bend the plant around the perimeter of the pot. Maybe something like that could work for you?
I'm Finally got her evened out a bit more now waiting for now light which is on the way. Got my white widow in a slightly smaller pot so hopefully won't have the same problem then when she's cut I will fill with 4 autos. Ak47/train wreck/amnesia
