I was gonna make the vegetable glycerin but I don't think it would come out as good as tincture using everclear, even though I'm sure the taste would be more pleasant then the kind i'm making..
isn't the ice water method more for bubble hash? I'd only use that method on leave material and things like that, not buds... From my understanding the return isnt so good using that method.. at-least with eth am getting about 20% return and getting better each run I do..I'm pretty sure I can get to 30% return, i'll be very happy if I do..
I had read, NOT to use bubble hash for vape juice, since the trics won't break down in that.. Maybe the info was wrong, who knows far too much incorrect info out there...Thats why I was undecided how I was gonna go about making it, then I found that wax liquidizer stuff.. There are a couple others, I haven't really seen reviews on but they seem use basically the same exact thing, peg/peg200/peg400 & no VG, since VG is cause of separation with shatter.. That other stuff is called Trees then there is another called Shatter Sauce and many other's but need avoid any with VG in there or will cause separation if using shatter/wax...Only use stuff that has peg/peg200/peg400 for vape juice if using shatter you won't regret it...Plus way easier to make shatter, then simply give warm water bath to mix it to e-juice... much cleaner as well...so your coils will last longer...and taste is much better as well..
even though I have plenty of material to work with, I still need & expect good returns when doing extractions or it's not worth doing... I doubt very much bubble hash will get even 20% returns, I'm getting little better then 20% returns now, using ISO... When I do an Ever-clear run, I'm expecting do 25%-30% return...I'm gonna document when I do that.. I thought ISO/Eth extractions both earn me the same badge, but apparently in order to get Eth Extractors badge I need to use Ever-Clear
Not really make sense,.. since both Extractions are done Exact same way, But what do I know... I bought 6-1.75liter bottles of Ever-Clear, so that should do quite a bit of extractions..My last Iso run I use 16oz of iso & got back 6.2gm of shatter..
