Name: @Greengenes
SeedBank : Single Seed (pre-closing Single Seed)
Strain: Bubba Cheese Auto
Breeder: Emerald Triangle
Did it autoflower?: Yes
Soil/hydro: Hydro
shared 25 gallons with a Northern lights auto.
Nutes:
Green Planet Hydro Fuel, FoxFarm trio of additives, Root 66, optic foliar overgrow
Light (kind and schedule):
two 150 watt Mars Hydro, and a 200 watt Viparspectra LED combo
18/6 light schedule
From seed to harvest date: 75 days
Dry Yield: 8 ounces
High/Effect Duration:
Very potent strain. Heavily Indica. Heavy hitting smoke, and best used as a night time medicine. I sleep well with it, but it is very sedative. 30 minutes in, and for up to an hour I would not want to operating machinery or driving.
RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good
BAG APPEAL: ****
The dried buds are small but consistent and dense. They show decent crystal structure.
THE GROWTH: ***
This strain grows tall and lean. The one I grew was over 60 inches high and filled her space. I had to tie up most of tops or they would flop over and break. The buds were not massive, but there were dozens of consistent tops. If you are looking for a plant to get large fast, this is the plant for you. She would a great target strain for SCROG growing I think.
THE SMELL: ****
Hard to characterize based on my old school experience. There are dozens of strains out I have not tried. My opinion is that she has some of the sharp Cheese smell, and maybe a hint something not quite sweet to balance it. Overall not a super distinctive smell.
THE SMOKE: *****
Heavy, maybe contributing to coughing. Tastes pleasant and burns well.
THE HIGH: *****
Super potent. Among the most potent strains I have tried. I prefer a Sativa balance in my smoke, but I must admit this plants stone is first class. Pain relief is good, anti anxiety is ok, and the couch lock is in full effect there when you take that extra couple hits.
This was two weeks before harvest, they did get a bit bigger. These buds were a foot long but narrow.
Bubba Cheese in the back of the room, NL in front.
