As title states, it appears to be just the first 2 single finger leaves that are effected. Heres some pic's to make it alil easier to help if you are able to do so.

Pics of top views are yesterday and today so a fair bit of browning in that short of time. I think the first set of leaves were all that it had grown out using a low cfl(draw 15w output 75W 4100K white) before switching to 135W(think they were atleast 3x more white spec) BS 3W leds. fresher growth seems better

Is this just the plant trying to adjust and handle?
Any other ideas or suggestion are welcomed, and appreciated!

Edit: adding that sex has not shown and is 22days old atm. got a feeling its a male though:no:

well it looks like a ph issue or overwatering maybe?
got some stats on those things for us?

:smokeit:

Unfortunately I do not have any kinds of meter's or brains in that area. Pot did feel kinda bottom heavy but compared to my other 1ltr pots a 2ltr will feel kinda heavy, felt light enough for a sprinkle over the surface which I do with all every few days or when first couple inches of mix is dry and lose. I openly admit I transplanted it terribly, perlite basically made the whole dirty n vermiculite crumble off in my hand around the roots so were all kinda put in together rather then spaced out. Kinda loses the value of a wider pot than ay?

I've over watered before and sure to do it again. Perhaps the size is throwing me off. You think let it dry out abit than?

I'd let it dry out a bit yes... cuz it looks overwatered to me... but you definelty need to get a ph meter at least for water... its sooooooo key

okay, I'll let it dry out asap, thanks for your input:smokebuds:

Understandably a key elemant, we have good safe drinking water here as compared to other states where they need filtered or distilled water just to drink water.
2012-07-31 20.01.18.jpgHere's my younger one looks so much better. *Rages & goes Hulk*

Just this side of things is hard for my head to get around atm. definetly can't wait for afew more years of growing under my belt:howdy:

EDIT: will look into a ph meter for soon.

No sex at 22 days, mine are 38 days and I see just a couple of pistols so yours are way to early to sex.

Meant to start sexing at 3weeks(21 days) so I just scrape in there to.:smoke:Not worried about the sexing yet they need way more growth, just wanted to add that bit more info to help. I'm more worried about the the health of the plant.

They look very small for 22 days old. You definitely need to know your pH so good to get a meter. They look over watered to me bro. What kind of soil are you using? Over watering can cause so many problems. and stunt them for sure. Which is what I think I see in your pictures. They may turn male just from the stress. 22 days is not that young to show sex either. I just had 4 of my Female Autos show at 18 and 19 days. 2 males at 17 days. Males will generally show before females.

I would definitely let them dry out and see what happens. If you have more seeds I would start some more if you need meds because at this point you may get just a gram or two if they make it. No worries tho! We've all been there and it's just a part of learning to grow! Autos are a world of their own! Even for growers who've grown Photos for years... I say get a pH meter and start some more and give it another go! If you can tell me what soil you're using that would help.. also what nutes are you using or plan to use? Best of luck Bro! you know we're all here to help you along!

I was looking around for you, and I ain't got much

I think JM is very right about a possible pH imbalance, and I would just add a possible magnesium def. it won't hurt to try and foliar your plant with some cal/mag or Epsom salts diluted in water.

I would, however, consider terminating your current grow and starting over with a new seed. That plant is way yay too small for 22 days and you'll end up spending much more than what she'll give you in return.

I would also re-think the soil. Perlite and vermiculite per se is not the ideal environment for a plant because they don't hold much after dry and root plants don't get much out of them... I understand if it's an experiment, but otherwise just grab yourself some spaghnum peat moss and mix them in about 50% peat, 30% perlite and 20% vermiculite. That should give you a good base. Or a good premix soil like promix bx or biobizz light-mix. In the end I honestly think any kind of dirt will add benefits to your current soil.

I don't know what nutes your giving them... I use a combination of two main basic nutes (1 for veg and 1 for flowering) and three basic energizers (kelp, humic acids and enzymes). It's been working for me. Add to that some mycorrhiza and your good to go.

Hope it helps and green karma to your girls.

WCR - Yeah I've had them show under 20days. Also only the 22day old one is sickly. the younger one I've knocked over twice around the timing of its transplant from pot to pot so wouldnt surprise me if its stunted some.. its looking healthier leaves stretching out more rather than droopy, smaller pot and more perlite and I have it directly under the light so probs drying out faster.

No adding of nutes, just been watering when looking/feeling dry.

These % aren't spot on.
