Brown spotting on leaves...stumped.

riz, the other strain I have are 3 weeks old and covered top to bottom in these spots. The new growth seems to get about a week before it shows spots, and then from there it just runs rampant.

First things first...get rid of your soil, or atleast go out and buy some promix and start a seed in a 16oz party cup with just promix and see what happens. I have a feeling something is wrong with your soil...it would be different if it was just one plant, but its all of them. You have to see what variable is consistent which is your soil, and your water.

So either ph your water to low 6's and see what happens, or change your soil or both!

3 weeks old isn't long enough to be nute problems. Everything else yer doing seems spot on so go and google leaf spot fungus and check out the images and report back ifyou think thats what it is ye have.

Just found that picture doing a google search for leaf spotting...

That page says the damage is due to excessive sodium in the water...bizarre, but it looks EXACTLY like my problem. Should I try a good flush with bottled spring water?

This picture does look like it... You didn't use sodium carbonate or anything like that did you?

There's a couple of things here I believe you should be doing to correct this problem: flush to clear the soil and lower the soil pH in between 6.0 and 6.5; start a light feed program; get yourself a fungicide (the one from Plant Magic riz told about looks good).

No, never added sodium bicarb. Sounds good, I'm gonna jump on Amazon and try to find myself a good digital PH meter while I'm at it.

A effective way to combat LS is a 1part milk 4 part water folar spray once every 4-7 days.Dont forget to add a drop of dish soap to the solution as a spreader. This WILL NOT cure the LS,I dont think anything will. The key is to fight it off until harvest. This has saved my ass in the past. The spray will stop any further damage.

What would you guys recommend for flushing procedures? I dumped about 6oz of PH 6 bottled spring water into each of the party cups, and about 8oz into the tiered party cups in pots. I repeated about 1/2 of that again tonight when I got home from work. I'm going to leave it alone for a few days and see what happens...re-asses on Wednesday night. Thoughts?
