Hi !
There are some upper leaves on my wedding glue auto that show some orange/brownish dots.
The plant isn't really sick, she's 50 days old, but I'm curious about what this is ?
Running on biotabs
Thanx !

How many leaves are affected ? Are you using cal/mag and are you ph,ng your water?
Some leaves on the upper part are affected
I don't use cal/mag and I don't ph the water, Biotabs says that is unnecessary.
I did check the PH in the beginning of my grow and it was in the normal range

I'm no expert but to me that looks like early signs of a calcium deficiency. Ran into it recently with my grows.

If it's more orange/rust colored then I would say calcium if it's darker and more brown then I would say P def.

It is always god to check your runoff water for PH no matter what you use chemical or organic nutes, If your ph is off your plant will not absorb nutes correctly until the ph is in the proper range 6.5 is neutral so it should be close to that.

One thing to keep in mind with calcium…. Both deficiencies and excess can cause orange spots, unfortunately and ironically :(

The last time I ran into rusty/orange spots personally was due to hard starting water and inaccurate pH. Do you know the ppm of your starting water? And are you confident your pH measurement was accurate?

Ah this is unfortunate...
I don't think it's a water problem as only 1 plant out of 4 shows the rusty spots... plus they got the exact same biotabs line nutriments.
But I will invest in a good pH tester for my next grow !
Thank you for your insight !

@snerval I have those problems with my water which Is very hard,I address It to hardness, too much calcium carbonate.Having this problem in my other actual grow and had It in the last ones.

What I can Say Is in my last grow It become more and more bigger until I saw blotches or patches instead of points of orange-rusty colour, then the leaves became very burnt.

Apparently in my case it's due to a nutrient lockout - I did test the water which is fine, the spots only appeared some days ago...
I was suggested to cut the amount of nutrient, which I did giving her only water and some EM.
It seems to work :)

It might be my case too,my water having too much shit in It locking out calcium and having nutrienti deficiencies
