Breeding Auto Landraces/Old Ibl's

If you're referring to my comment being very poor advertising then I must say I do not appreciate that. I was not advertising anything, just trying to help and seeing that I just misunderstood your question, you could have just corrected me.

your link..... there advertizing of landrace auto....not yours... I did answer your question... minimum 3 times grown and breed outside will acclimatize to your environment

Sorry bro, my mistake and thanks for answering my question. Must have been in a bit of a touchy mood. It is a pretty badly made site in general, but that didn't stop me from buying seeds lol.

Thanks too to Al Bundy. Do you think the acclimatisation happens simply because you select the plants that do best outdoor or is it more of an epigenetic process? or both perhaps? If it were epigenetic it wouldn't matter which plants you chose to breed with, the subsequent generations would still be acclimatised to your local environment.

:peace:

as mentioned... lbh has lots of nice sativas/... JM working on some sativas and indicas... landraces eventually... but many years to really stabilize and acclimitize a strain after intial selection / breeding / stabilizing... :toke: :2cents:

Hey peeps by auto landrace I meant a landrace crossed with an auto and made auto...
e.g you have landrace afghan that finishes in late october, cross it with lowryder and select the autos in offspring until
its auto and finishing in august.

Outdoor breeding is far superior because every generation the plants can grow to their FULL PHENOTYPE EXPRESSION.
Sun loving annuals (tobacco, tomato, cannabis) need sun and earth for that to happen.
Indoors is more controlled but also a far more generic and limiting environment.

Well the ones from autofem seeds are what you're talking about then. No idea how good they are, but I would love to see someone grow them out so pm me if you do.

What you say about pheno expression makes a lot of sense. Thanks for that.

autoflowering hashplant , autoflowering lambsbread , autoflowering maui waui <------- in the works by ALBUNDY...

Looking forward to it

Yeah lbh stuff looks good, the great thing about auto's is that you can do 2 or more generations per season/year, of course when working with auto x photo its a slow start.

Thanks, do autofem have a forum somewhere? I like to check a breeder and ask questions before I buy seeds,
Just like I did here with mossy :D

No problem mate. Yeah I like to do that too, it's one of the great things about this forum and others too. I don't know if they are on any forums, but I just sent them a question or two and they replied quite quickly with helpful info. I think it is a very young company and will improve as time goes on, but they have some interesting genetics.
