Breeders Corner Guidelines

When you move on from Step 3 and breed the resulting auto's together, what is the expected percentage of auto seeds from that step?
You’ll notice the plants that auto by leaving the seeds from step 3 on a 24/7 lighting cycle. From that point you will notice both male and female autos because they will flower and the photos won’t. Choose the strongest male of the autos and ditch everything but the female autos and the one strong male auto. Once your females begin to get 3/4 of the way to harvest pollinate them by selectively pollinating flowers on the females so you ended up with a good flower to seed ratio at the end of harvest. Once you’ve harvested your flower and extracted the seeds those seeds will carry the auto trait from that point forward.

Welcome to the Breeders Corner. No, this isnt the place we send our breeders that are being punished lol. Here you can show any strains you have developed or projects youre working on.

Thanks for stopping in. Lets see that AFN talent!
Here's a project I'm working on called Stealth Bomber..
I'm crossing a webbed leaf recessive gene (photo)with Autoflower genetics in an attempt to create a plant suitable and able to finish outdoors here on the prairies in Canada...Focus: Stealth, potent, productive as well as fast finishing...basically a plant you can grow in your yard, that no one will recognize. :)

Here's a few of the plants from my f1's...Nice thick bushy indica leaf.Almost makes me think the leaf structure is more a function of Incomplete dominance rather than a recessive trait..One plant showing a tri-leaf...Also, the last snap showing a snub-nosed leaf.
It'll be interesting looking through the f2's and the few webbed leaf plants that appear..
First snap is from the webbed mom..
Cheers

Mr Toad

Finally found a male for my Stealth Bomber project...4 recessive traits in these f1's..:)
-Autoflower trait
-Auto-topping trait
- Whorled Phyllotaxi (Tri-leaf)
- Webbed leaf..

Ideally, I'm looking for 4-5 plants when I grow out the f2's that are both webbed and Autoflower (1 in 16)..Likely save autoflower siblings as well depending in outcome..so have to plant 80-100 beans come
Spring..

Cheers

First plant is the male that has finally shown in the Tri-leaf...should be great...I have 5 out of the 31 plants that are male..3 of which are definitely Hermie and likely to be culled (99%)..a few have yet to show sex...

I'm guessing my use of just the grow switch on one of my Meizhi 450's during veg (primarily blue) Contributed to the overwhelming number of females..Statistically the ratio of what I have makes no sense.

of note..I stated all of these plants 12-12 from seed..(since I'm just trying to breed seeds)

First snap is the bushy male I am impressed with and going to use (non-Hermie)

Just figured I'd pop up a couple snaps...
A 3 primary pheno's have shown up as I create my f2 beans...Once I plant these f2's Im going to have a broad spectrum appear...There is a tall pheno ,a shorter pheno with very high calyx:leaf ratio and a third pheno that is super lush during flower...and a lot slower to mature..

I've been running these plants 12-12 from seed to get my f2 seeds quickly..thinking I should be able to harvest the seeds in the next couple weeks...after which I'lI let them dry 2-4 weeks and eun again to see what phenos appear in the f2's...I'll likely run more than normal #'s in an attempt to pin down a number of plants with multiple recessive traits for creating my f3's...1 in 16 chance of producing a plant with 2 recessives I am chasing with these f2's..

Here's a quick snap of one of my Stealth Bomber mom's...She doesn't have the webbed leaf trait, but expecting to pheno hunt quite a few of the kids for f3's to nail it down...In spite of being dull of seeds, she's still doing a rockstar job on pumping out the trichomes..I'll be please if those trichomes carry over to those nice webbed leaves...Very cool color too.

Cheers

MrToad, thanks for sharing. That's a good stuff I think. It's something like Sour Pink Limonade ? I've tried it couple of months ago after ordering it from here ( website: https://weedzy.co.uk/ ), and now I'm looking for another one, cause they are lack of it at the moment. By the way, how long are you making your growing business?
