Indoor BR549's Poisoned Fantasmo Trainwreck Decay Extravaganza!

I hear you; I'm ready to make the switch. I probably would have started out that way, but in a one bedroom apartment with no outside area whatsoever, there was no way I was mixing and cooking soil in my living room. But, since I can just buy Kind Soil now and skip all that, you can bet I'll be giving it a go. Soon. As in next grow!

Cool man, I haven't tried kind soil but I know guys here have been testing it and the feedback is mostly very good...perhaps not perfect but very good. I've been testing kisorganics since the spring, has worked very well. I'm testing their prebagged product in my current portal run, at 80% strength and the plants are very happy so far. I'm sure you can get a good result with either product, it's really a breeze when you don't have to mix half a dozen bottle nutes each time...saves time and money. Good luck man

DAY 72: Whoops..missed a day there. Anyway, things are jumpiing now. The Fantasmo Express (or whatever it is) came down Friday; got a jar full of fluffish buds (that's sativa for you, I guess). The Red Poison is still in the photos below, as I took them yesterday, but she's hanging now. Looks like about half an ounce of fluff. And both of these (in fact the whole Red Poison plant) are including those buds that normally would go into the trim bag. Funny how the worse the grow, the smaller "acceptable" becomes...
Sweet Trainwreck is fading fast; she's been on just water since Thursday. And then there's Toof Decay, who seems to be trying to save the grow all by herself. She's still getting nutes, and still packing on the weight.

Red Poison, now departed you can see how scraggly she is...

On the other hand, I DID get my color finally. I'd take a better shot, but alas, it's too late for her.

Sweet Trainwreck=she's not really ready, but she's running out of time, I'm afraid.

Toof Decay:

She's still looking fairly good. A few leaves are dying, but we're getting to that point anyway. Hopefully she has time to finish properly.

Of course, clever readers will have noticed that somehow I posted the Toof Decay twice. Which means I deleted the photo of the Sweet Trainwreck instead of the extra Toof Decay photo. Hang on a second...

Here she is; NOW you see the difference. I realized something was wrong when I couldn't see the foxtailing in the post above.

Here's the bud from the Fantasmo Express; along with a single shot of a "big bud". Why, it's almost half as long as a Bic lighter! Real monster, eh?

Still, it looks cool. I sure am looking forward to my next grow, though.

Well, I just did the chop on her. Looks like about a jar full of bud, if my shrinkage estimates are correct. But that's REAL bud, not fluff, so that's cool. And I didn't notice how sparkly she was until I got out my trimming lamp. Nice. And, if the scissors hash is any indication, this one's a keeper-a couple of hits and my arthritic knee has floated off into space. Here's a shot of the main cola and a close up of the same:

I could have done without the Sideshow Bob effect of the foxtailing, but I'll smoke 'em.

Slapping ya dude, looks amazing, my mouth is drooling...I've just run dry so harvest can't come any quicker. Look forward to the smoke report
:slap:

DAY 78: The Toof Decay is still looking good, considering her stage. The last round of hairs are turning color, but haven't curled up yet. I can't believe this plant has done so well; I guess you can just get lucky with four tries...

It won't be long now...

It pretty much had to end like this, didn't it? The grande finale of errors? I decided to give the plant two days of "darkness" before harvesting by taking it into the living room. My foot hit the cat and stopped, readjusted, and stepped on where the cat was now located. I went down. The plant went down. The cat? Of course, he ran to where the plant landed. I guess I shouldn't complain; hell, the cat had a worse day than I did. Anyway, wet weight is at 221.7 gms, so according to my secret decoder ring, I'm looking at between 1.5 and 1.75 ounces. So at least I get a 'real harvest' out of one of the plants, and I can move on to my next adventure...

By Grabthar's Cola, you shall be avenged!

Okay, here's the wrap up. The Toof Decay yielded 40.7 gm, plus another 8 of fluff. I can only count the bud that, if I was selling (and I'm not; I'm a chicken...), looked good enough to sell, and frankly, the other three strains didn't make the grade. Not their fault; bad grower. Hell, Toof Decay usually gives me over 60 gm a plant, so it's just the plant that I screwed up the least. Lesson learned: don't use the friggin' HPS lamp in the summer and jack your temps up (why did I need to learn this? I thought I knew it already!). Hopefully keeping that in mind, and the switch to organic will cover those. We'll see.

Thanks for following along guys! Next grow has already started; hopefully it won't be as traumatic as this one!
