In the process of drying my first auto - hanging in my closet at 64 degrees and 48% humidity. Planning to jar next week at some time and I have some 62% Boveda on the way. I have a couple of 1.5 litre jars, which should hold up to an ounce each. Do I just drop the Boveda in there and let it take its course? Should I burp and how long should the Boveda be left in.

Also, I took the top off the main cola a week ago to allow extra light to get at the rest of the plant. I dried this too quickly and it is very dry and now in a jar. How can I get moisture back into this? Will a Boveda help?

Cheers.

I still burp my jars for the first week or so but you can throw the Boveda in there and then just that's it it should help to rehydrate that dried out nug to

Cheers. After this one, I've still got another couple growing at 82 days, which will hopefully be ready next week. Want to make sure I get the dry and cure as right as possible. All taking a bit longer than advertised.

Rehydrate with peelings of your fav citrus flavor...I use lemon peels ...
If really overdried...I suspend a juicy lemon section inside the jar with bud....
I only use bovada after my buds have reached and stalls at 62%...jarred and sealed.

Bovedas will dry out and shrivel up if you ask then to do too much work, like, say, rehydrate the cedar line of a drum humidor.

They actually make a pack that's meant for hydrating a humidor I think it's like 82% humidity or something

i generally keep them more for my long term storage also for a fuck up like you said if you overdry it put a 62rh one in your jar it may take days to change the humidity level but i will get it back to there for you if i was in a jam i would use peelings as someone suggested but these are well worth it

I've got the Boveda in jar 1 and its running at 62. I'm giving it a burp now and again. At what stage is burping not necessary and the jar can just be left sealed with the Boveda?

Personally I let my buds reach 62% or below on their on before putting a bovada in the jar and then sealing.
