Hello all. Ok first off. This particular plant isn't an auto. But I could use some input anyways. It a Barnys farm laughing budda. This plant has caused nothing but problems since it popped. Has been very tempermental . Due to the fact that this is known as the most giggliest around. I REALLY want to help this lady bounce back. Ok so. I'm running coco/ perlite mix. Running the Green Planet 4 part nutrient at 3/4 recommended. Also running green planet pro-cal at full recommended. 900 w meizhi led. 45% humidity . 25 celcius. 6.7 ph. The plant developed a spider mite infestation couple weeks ago. But it's under control now. At the same time it developed a magnesium deficiency so I started adding 1 tbsp Epsom salt per 6 litres of feed mix. Now I believe it is starting a nitrogen deficiency. I'm not sure if the Epsom salts are causing a lockout. But the pro Cal should be allowing proper nitrogen absorption. Any one have any ideas for me. I'm in week 3 of flower. And honestly at this point would like to see at least 3 oz come off this girl.

Fed yesterday. Feeding with a ph of 6.7. Have a sour diesel in another tent. Feeding the same and it looks mint. I know that different strains react differently. My main concern is figuring out why its locking out the nitrogen. I'm going to flush the hell out of her tomorrow . But the last bit of water I'm going to add some pro-cal and a bit of Epsom salts and see if that makes any kind of difference.

That's probably the issue, coco is pH'd 5.6 to 6.2, except for just a couple of lines.
Treat coco as hydro, not soil.

Yeah... I run one of those "other" lines...so it kinda sticks out too me when I see another high pH in coco.

I've only been growing indoors for a bout a year. Keep my autos at 5.6 ph. Have done 3 photo harvests but was ph at 6.7 and never really had any problems this bad. But clearly this mus be a huge factor in the lockout. I had even ruled out ph cause they are photos and I thought it was supposed to be in the mid 6s. Regardless. This was alot of help man. Thank you very much. I'll update the thread in a week or so et you know how it went.

- coco can't be treated like a true soil, it's a specialized soilless medium that has a lot of do's and don't's... not an easy medium to master, but done right, it can grow monsters in small pots... it has a lot in common with hydro,... coco has some weird CEC properties, this is what makes it a bitch to deal with if run like soil... it hogs Ca and Mg (hence the need to use Ca-Mg) keeping it from the roots, until it's sated (CEC is properly set, then it gives/takes normally); needs to run at lower pH, and typically you feed every time, at moderate ppm;'s, 15-20% run-off each time to purge excess nute salts if built up,... pH and ppm going in and coming out is critical info, this is how you monitor what's is going on in there...
That said, mostly what I see is N defc, some P too I think,... some of the N defc. is normal for this stage, but not quite this much so early,... review what the NPK#'s are in that feed and Ca-Mg, might be time to tinker with ratios here.... but first I'd do the routine mentioned above and find out what the deal is in there, that info is critical to what to do next... flushing can't be done like true soil either, pure water will screw the CEC up and you're back in the jam all over again....

Thanks for the input. So here's my plan. I'm working nights this week so my schedual is all jacked up. Anyways... I notice I have a bit of nute burn as well. Today on the way into work I picked up a bottle of general hydroponics cali magic to used instead or the green planet pro-cal i was using before.
Tomorrow before work I'm going to flush this plant at a ph of 6. Then at the next feed I'm going use the cali magic as well as cut down 1/4 of the strenght of the Green planet dual fuel . Oh as well as keep ph at 6. There were a few things I did wrong in this grow. 1 was the micro and macro nutes I'm using are more for actual hydroponic systems so I will switch those up to a different nute next time. Also my grow shop guy says I should have been using cali magic instead of the pro cal. Gave an explanation as to why but I forgot Haha. And 3rdly ph was way too high. I have grown outdoors for years so I'm quite knowledgable on alot of stuff but only got tents about a year ago. So I am back in class sort of speak. I appreciate the help . I'll update the thread in a week or so . Fingers crossed I haven't done too much damage on this lady and that she'll bounce back. Thanks again

Ok. So here's what I've done. It's a mish mash of advice ive gotten from here and the lad at the grow shop. I did a 1 time intense flush. Generally with my autos cause they are in 3 gal pots i have drip trays so i can measure ppms and ph going out. This photo is in a 10 gal. And i got cocky and said i should be fine. Big mistake. I measure the first bit of run off and I'm embarrassed to say the ph was over 7 and ppm were over 3000. Needless to say I'll be picking up drip trays for my 10 gal pots today. Lesson learned. I flushed ph6 water till my run off was about the same. Ppms are in low 1000. I figure that's good enough. I'm letting her sit on a stand in the sinking till I leave for work but before putting her back in the tent on going to add 2 liters of ph6 with some cali magic to hopefully help intake. From here on out on this grow I am cutting my micro macro to 1/2 recommended and I'll be making sure to check run off at every feed. We gon make this lady healthy again ! I hope I chose the right method to rectify my screw up!. I'll check back in a week or so with my findings. Cheers!!
