Indoor BoogNelson's perpetual journey

I'm not the best at online deficiency, you might be best to post up in the infirmary as well.

One thing to check is roots, are you growing in fabric? Is the bottom kept elevated if you are?
Is there any off smell coming from your media?

No off smell they are in fabric and i do need to get them off the ground. Only 2 out of 6 plants are showing these problems.

I'm just concerned, I have had pythium and the leaves can look like that from pH issues, but it's easy to spot it in hydro. Are the bottom of the pots OK too? No weird smell or anything?

No they smell fine. Ill look into pythiumThese look alot like my leaves on my very first grow journal on here this past winter.

Well its official. Looks like people dying from weed. Well the way they smoke it. And teens with underdevolped brians and nervous system just be safe folks. Even though i dont know alot of people i do care about human life.

This is what doctors saying in colorado. There are a whole host of us who are speaking out about it, and people need to start listening and looking to the future," Randall said. Dr. Karen Randall, an emergency room physician certified in "cannabis science and medicine," said the legalization of marijuana has damaged, rather than helped, her home state. Randall, who spoke alongside former White House drug czar John Walters at the right-leaning Hudson Institute on Friday, said the public is being misled about the effects of recreational marijuana.

"I think the public needs to know that we are not okay," Randall said. "The grand experiment is not going so well. I don't think the public is hearing about this as they should be."

"This is going to be a crisis with potential long-term consequences that will far outpace the opioid crisis, with lasting damages and lasting injuries, as well as a significant cost to the public."

Is this one of the ones sitting in runoff?

Give this a try to bring the ppm down.

run a half strength solution until your run off is where you want it to be. That way your ppms come down cleanly without upsetting the nutrient balance in the coco.

Hey Boog, sorry to see that you are having problems with those two plants, man. I am far from a soil/coco expert, because I grow in DWC indoors. You have gone through all of the things I would suggest, especially ruling out ph lockout. How is the new growth going? You may have corrected the issue, but the already damaged leaves won't ever show it, and will probably look worse. As long as the new growth is good, I would feel better about things.

I would also suggest posting in the infirmary where @Waira can help. He has seen it all.

I am not a coco grower but if you don’t mind I’ll ramble off a thought that just popped into my head.

Is it possible that these plants are so big and healthy that they are pretty much root bound in the two gallon pots. I know during flower there is an exchange between plant and soil back and forth. In this case the plant might be pushing more back into the soil to try and create the environment that it wants. I think it pushes back sugars to help feed the biome ( I really don’t know). So maybe the massive root system is or has eaten all it can and needs more sugars to help break down the nutrients faster and absorb them. I’m just spit balling trying to conceive a reason for the Ppm to increase. This might also account for why it has not been drinking.

Please don’t make any changes based on that ramble. But maybe it will give you a path to consider.

:vibes:

plants look great ....well all but 2 pics :frowny:
out of 6 plants 2 are showing signs.all things the being the same,4 perfectly happy,2 not so happy.so cant be far off,as in you not doing much wrong if 4 are loving it :smokeit:
have the 2 got anything in common ? a picky strain ?
ppm out cant really be trusted at all as tiny particals in run off will throw off the measurement.just out of interest whats the ppm of base plain water ?
dwc/water growers dont count their base water in ppm/tds measurements.my max feed was about 900 ppm with base of 160 so 740 ish of nutes.
have heard of a few biobizz users adding a pk booster...i looked into it,got bored and confussed,so the thought of getting a pk booster was put to the bottom of my "i must get round to it sometime" list.
im from wrong side of pond, and with there being so many soils, soils and soilless :crying: lowering the ph could be worth a try.
but im an eejit 4th opinion would be wise :coffee:
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

Wow. Thanks for the replies. I grow in promix. Its more like soil than coco. But its soilless lol...the ones that havr deficiencies are in 3 gallon pots. Both are the exact same age. They are both 2 new strains to me. @Frenjamin Banklin they probably would have liked the 5 gallons more than 3. Only one of my plants are in 2 gallons..and its younger. The oldest plant and the 3 youngest are the healthy ones. Thanks i really didnt know that about the sugars. I know my bio grow is molasses base and is supposed to be used throughour whole grow..maybe thats why. @archie gemmill thank you my plain water base ppm is just under 200. Usually mid to upper 190s. 196 being most the readings on the tap after 24 hour sit.
