Yeah I really need to get a meter. Me having a red/green color deficiency in my eyesight doesn't help either.
I've seen a soil one that got decent reviews for about $35-$40. Just tough this time of the year for me. So I'm trying to make it work with what I have.
**EDIT**
Well I just tested my water after bubbling and the pH went up. So I'm wondering if that's been the problem.
I didn't think I'd have to check the pH after bubbling my water. I wonder what makes the pH raise from bubbling.
The bubbling shouldn't do either just keep it balanced but if its raising it or changing it there may be somthng in the stone or on the lines. I would make sure to clean everything each time I added water to a jug and the air lines and stones.
