Was going to give/add some bone meal to my plants for calcium since they are having problems.
Do I just put the Bone meal on top of soil and then water them? Or do I have to mix it into soil, if so how do I mix into soil on already grown plants?

Also using party cups for my next grow and if I keep plants in party cups will it slow/stunt their growth? I plan on transplanting them, but would like to slow their growth till I have room. I'm already starting to LST them.

I loosen up the top layer of the soil with a fork, careful not to get too deep and hurt any roots, and then add *whatever*. Then mix it in with the loosened soil. Add water or feed or tea or something, sit back and enjoy the green.
Hope the Bone Meal takes care of that!

For faster results I'd get a liquid cal/mag supplement. Bone meal is slow acting.

All I could find was a box of Bone Meal (and they only had 1 box at that). I live in a small town so I was/am limited to what I can find.
I'll have to see if I can find the liquid Cal/Mag supplement next time I go to the city.

I'll do the fork idea, thanks for that. I still have a month till they'll be done so hopefully this helps before they're done.

You can also do a folair spray of 1 teaspoon of epsom salts per quart of pHed water.

Yeah I've been doing that, but it hasn't seemed to help. I still do it though just in case. I even added 1 tbs/gallon in their last feeding (which I'll do again).

Can you check the PH of your soil sounds like it might be locked out. You should be able to find lime (dolomite) most anywhere mix it in the soil when you start.

I don't have a pH tester. I tried testing the runoff of a flush, but the pH was about the same pH as the distilled water I ran through it.
Actually I got 2 different readings from one plant (same water) and my other plant was the same reading as the 2nd time I tested the first plants runoff (about 6).
I'm using drops to test pH. Plan on getting a pH tester sometime, but it probably won't be till after these plants are finished (probably be around Feb.).

Watch out on this one mate, i used the drops for the longest time. There is a problem with them and run off.
If you are testing the run off with the drops your reading will be inaccurate. Im betting by 6 you mean yellow correct? or somewhere near that shade.

The problem lies in the solution, it only discolors the the water to a certain point and that is yellow.
after i got my digital meter i saw the problem i was having on a few girls. The reading was 4.6
yet the mix was yellow as normal, or at least i thought a 6. Then i tested it out and saw that no matter
how much pH down i added to the test water the color never changed past yellow.
A correct reading would show red with the right solution.

Most run of the mill aquarium testers dont drop to the red color, i tested a few :D

Yeah I really need to get a meter. Me having a red/green color deficiency in my eyesight doesn't help either.
I've seen a soil one that got decent reviews for about $35-$40. Just tough this time of the year for me. So I'm trying to make it work with what I have.

**EDIT**
Well I just tested my water after bubbling and the pH went up. So I'm wondering if that's been the problem.
I didn't think I'd have to check the pH after bubbling my water. I wonder what makes the pH raise from bubbling.
