Bomb Seeds Bomb Seeds & Bear 88s - Welly Boot Challenge

Seed was dropped in water on 16th October so that would be 27 days if I'm counting it correctly
she looks lovely. I hope my baby looks like that, I keep my fingers crossed and hold my breath when I open the tent every morning!
:crying:

she looks so good. Everyone is just killing it, I love it!!
Thank You
Despite my beginners LST and Topping and accidental *clone making* LOL
I must admit that I find this wellie challenge very good fun and it is great to see how many people actually joined in on it, and with different grow methods and so on.

Oh hon, call it a learning experience, don't be embarrassed! Post anyways!! I remember when I was new everyone's plants looked so awesome and I kept asking myself what the hell I was doing wrong, and I STILL DO! My motto is~Heck, if I don't learn from my mistakes maybe someone else can.
:crying:

Its a BOOT....I am surprised mine has come this far as I struggle with my plants in a POT! 20 bucks said people tried this challenge and never posted because they failed. I wish people wouldnt do that. I need to know I am the only one that fails all over the place. How can you learn and have success without fails? Look at it this way, mucho kudos to you as you posted and hung in there.

I am the Master Queen of Mess Ups. I have stepped on more plants, broken more lights, changed my grow method in the middle of a grow, had more bugs, overwatered or underwatered, wasted more hard earned money, tossed more seeds and seedlings, and cried more than anyone on this site! (I used to literally go through Hansbrick's grows and CRY!!) We must crawl before we can walk...I try to convince myself.

Post on my friend!! XOXOXOXO
I used to be the same way. Very ashamed of my plants. I had to learn everyone’s grow isn’t the same. As @MassMom says, I had to learn from my mistakes. I had to learn not to listen and copy what someone else is doing, and learn how to grow my self. Then everything changed for me. And I guarantee that i still make mistakes. It’s those little things. And I know better. Keep growing. Keep f’n them up... you will learn.

Picture for the week, the bottom of my wellie is holding a lot of water, the top drying out quick, am gonna have to chop some of the soles out adding coir matting - else the water's gonna stagnate. As I have 5 other plants in there the wellie at the side was stretching so have it right in the middle where she can grow straight. When I've sorted the drainage out I don't think I'll move her anymore as I compress the soil when I pick it up. There's some awesome stuff in here, I'll need to at least the end of February to sort this wellie out.

Day 34
I'm choosing the Gorilla Glue Auto as my battle plant  it wasn't a hard choice in the end. The other one looks like crap :crying:

Day 25ish. I keep reading how Fox Farm soils are too hot. Even though I have had good success w/it on my first 3 grows using a 50/50 mix of FFOF & strawberry field(which is supposed to be even hotter), I wanted to see how plants would do if I "thinned it out". These two wellie are a 50/50 mixture of FFOF & a non amended potting soil from a local nursery. Day 25 an they are under 3" tall. The alien moon rocks has been yellow since birth. Yesterday morning I said WTF, they are either going to grow or die. I top dressed a table spoon of EWC to each & watered with a little alaskan fish fert. Today they are both looking noticeably better. The AMR is a node taller & less yellow, and the crinkle looks a tad taller too. I can only imagine how much better they'd look if I'd not used straight fox farms.

Different genetics, so that may play into it here, but here is a SAG Chimp Glu at 13 days, in a 50/50 mix of FFOF/SF. Easily twice as large in half the time.
