She IS hairy @Waira
No one told her it ain’t the 70’s.
This is a stanky strain. Definitely not for stealth growing. Fuel, spice cabinet, menthol, something to singe the nose hairs. Too cold in the basement to turn on the filter... whole house reeks.
Let’s see if this one fattens up. No distinct deficiencies but only cal-mag so far. I’m anxious to get her done, and get some Portals soaking .
Thinking about Amethyst, Blue Jade , and Rainbow Stone, whatdya think? Make for a colorful tent

 My Humboldt Honey! ... things were still pretty fuzzy when I went to collage up there in the mid 80's - .... goooods, how I wish I had some of those olde genetics from then! I didn't have the appreciation for what i was getting back then that I do now,.. some of the Indi's were like nothing I've seen since!
Wow, that's a wild mix of stank alright, and the nose tingle is a definite good sign -... she may stay kinda lean from the looks, Magoo dom.? I have no eye for GBD's goods just yet,... On this soil, maybe next run add a PK booster, and see if the extra can fatten things up... things are getting kinda tapped at that point,....
Ahh, an older school line-up of Portals- :woohoo1: - colorama time indeed!

Got busy and lazy, otherwise she would have gotten some HPK. Took a furlough from my healthcare position.... so lots of time to fawn over the new starts.
The one is a bit Blue Magoo BX2 dom. The less common 24 CT dom pheno produces much bigger nugs.
Moved out East after college in the mid eighties and found a list of recommended designs at a trendy salon and never looked back!

BC, if you can get it, look into Roots Organic Terp Tea Bloom, a dry powder, very fine ground,.. I used it last year and like it very much! Complete nutrition, 3-7-4 I think,.. mixes well and can penetrate because it's so fine, like powder... wetting agent helps some with this too,... HPK is nice stuff as well, but if a little taste of N is called for, the Terp Tea is your ticket!

Great recommendation. I looked at that tea in the line up when at the hydro shop awhile back. I’m considering changing my cal-mag to the new zero N Roots product.

I'm learning more and more about Ca/Mg, and it's been a suspect culprit in some Sick Bay cases I'm thinking,.. Too much is definitely bad, as critical as Ca is for nute uptake/transport, it and Mg can really screw with the uptake of other nutes especially cations,... worse, toxicity symptoms are not exactly glaring, and hard to qualify,... it's a grey area tug-o-war with the LED thing, worse with coco and it's damn CEC bitchiness with Ca/Mg,... there's a fairly fine line between not enough and too much I believe, but what that is I can't point to! for sure, one must review all products for actual content, amount used, and medium content,... make you best guess! :face: ... my thinking is, in soil that's already amended with lime, don't start using Ca-Mg right away,.. coco specific nutes shouldn't add any at all, it's in there already. You water is a factor too, hardness, and medium pH... CaCO3 may be in the water, but may not be in available forms; acidity of course dissolves it to variable degrees,....
I hear you on the N content, some formulation are nitrate based and pretty damn loaded with N, a "hidden" source overlooked sometimes.,... :eek1:
