Blue Dream Auto?

It's genetics. An F1 cross is an unstable mix of genetics where the next generation could turn out to be ANYTHING. The dominate and recessive traits have not been worked out and stabilized to the point of homogenization like with true breeding strains. Try as you might, the next generation on a cut only strain will never be like the parent. Blue dream was someone's stroke of luck in a random cross that hasn't been replicated since, meaning all blue dream plants from the cut are the exact same original plant. The legend came from one seed, in my mind making it one of the largest organisms on the planet based on biomass alone!

Look up Mendelian genetics for a basic overview of how it all works, then throw in co-dominance and other curveballs and you have yourself a doozy.

I'm playing around with making an auto strawberry diesel. It's harder than most people think it is but it's not impossible to figure out. Just play around you never know what you will get

I forgot about this thread! thanks areohydro, i was aware of the release but thanks for the time! check out my Signature the "heard it here first" there are alot of newer autos that still needed to be tested! cant wait to see how HSO holds up with there autos i expect nothing but good things but only time will tell! i have much respect of N.Cali and the whole NW region!

IF you want a good blue dream auto, why not try to get the best (stable) Blue Dream photo, and then cross it with an auto that is somewhat similar, or at least has good traits, and then do a few rounds of breeding the babies until you get full autos + then backcrossing to the photo +repeat. Eventually you will get very close to 100% like the photo parent, but obviously never completely there seeing as you mixed the genes up and now there is at the very least that one that makes it autoflower. but probably a bunch more that you just don't notice.
