Hoping my Blue Dragon has a place here!
Blue Dragon was born from the need for seed. I was growing a couple different strains from seeds gifted to me, among them was Durrty Dragon. I had a male DD with raging hormones..........he pollinated several different plants. But I intentionally dusted a very nice Blueberry Headband with durrty Dragon pollen, I wanted more seed with the BH genetics and had no money for more seed.
The rest is history! I liked the cross so much, I decided to take it to full auto. I'm now at F5 and they are fairly stable, altough I still get an occassional Sativa dom, which I may breed when I find one again, she's a beauty and I like big plants!
I currently have a Sativa dom growing. She's a natural bush of colas! Blue Dragon is Sativa leaning anyway. Yet she has interesting structure. She starts out with often HUGE lower fan leaves, yet looks progressively more Sativa as she gains nodes. Her leaf color is dark green, to a bluish tint.
When mature and nearing chop day, they can become very dark, bordering on black, a trait from the Durrty Dragon I believe.
The tallest I've had were 46" tall. The current generation tends to average 32" tall. She is a good producer also. I'm currently growing the largest one yet, I think she's going to produce very well. She's growing in a 10 gallon "soilponics" DIY pot, bottom watered. She is growing in my simple organic soil and is watered with RO water with 90-120ppms of cal/mag in solution.
I have kept seed from a photo-period generation also. Just because........lol!
