All right, time for a new grow journal.
Seeds just put into grow medium today. All seeds were put into water cups yesterday and 24 hours later all 6 seeds had broken open and were showing a bit of flesh. Amazing.
I have 2 Double Grape, 2 Starwalker, I Grapey White and one Tyrone Menage a Trois.
I am reusing the DNA/Mills Coco/Cork grow medium. I am really happy with how everything went in the last grow using this medium. I flushed all the pots well with cold clear water. I DID NOT remove the root ball, but am trying the no till in these. The idea is that there will be beneficial bacterial still in there holding onto the old roots. As the new plants grow, the old roots turn into compost. I have no idea if it will make a difference but what the heck. Why not try it, right?
So details are:
4 - 3 gallon RootTrappers
2 - 3 gallon airpots (black fabric)
Nutes: Mills Full Menu at full strenth
Medium: DNA/Mills coco/cork
Lights: 400 W Induction, 600 W LED (Actual 380 I think).
Everything is in the pot today with a plastic water cup over them to hold in the moisture. I will be gone for 8 days starting Thursday. I expect them to break ground after I leave on Thursday and then they will have a nice week to get started before I get back. The pots are soaked well from the flush, so there shouldn't be any problems at all. (Keeping my fingers crossed). I will only run the induction light until I get back.
