So I am baked but I enjoyed writing the Fastbud#2 smoke report so here is the Black Cream from the same grow

SeedBank :

Name Sweet Seeds

Strain:

Name Auto Black Cream

Did it autoflower?: Y/N As always with Sweet Seeds - yes at day 20/21

Soil/hydro: Soil

Description Biobizz lite soil with 30% extra perlite added

Nutes:

Description Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Grow, Micro & Bloom, Voodoo Juice, B52, Calmag, Bio Silicon, Big Bud, Overdrive and Molasses

Light (kind and schedule):

Description 600W HPS (dimmed to 400W for approx 50% of the grow). 24/o for the first 2 weeks, then 18/6 til harvest

From seed to harvest date: _67_days

Dry Yield: 300_g plus popcorn from 5 plants

High/Effect Duration:

Description Creeps in rather than sledgehammers you but develops into a lovely, dreamy full body stone with crazy munchies followed by sleep!

In-depth
This is the kind of smoke to mellow out with after a shitty week. Its a dreamy, floaty, lightly narcotic high that melts you into the couch but doesn´t lock you there. Mars bars get destroyed in seconds when the munch comes upon you . As a side note these girls were harvested about 3 or 4 days after I wanted to and were pretty amber when I chopped them which probably contributes to the narcotic side of the stone. But when I grow this strain again I will leave them a few extra days from when I would normally harvest them because I really like the effects!

RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good

BAG APPEAL: *****

Description Just beautiful flowers. I had 4 that went a lovely browny purple, and 1 that was inky black from the time she showed me under her skirt!

THE GROWTH: ****

Description Actually a very odd grow. All 5 plants showed strange clawing and I know it wasnt N or heat stress. I trawled around various grow forums and found a load of people had the same issues with Black Cream and it just seemed to be a genetic thing in some of the plants so I decided to ignore it and do exactly what I normally do feed wise. It paid off handsomely and I ended up with some really gorgeous dense buds!

THE SMELL: ****

Description Fruity and spicy but not overpowering

THE SMOKE: *****

Description Rich and fruity - almost like aniseed at times!

THE HIGH: *****

Description As above - a lovely old school stone to relax with.

THE TASTE: ****

Description Like spiced fruit cake

I really enjoyed growing this strain. When I got past the clawing issues it was great watching the colours develop and the main colas packed so much weight on. 2 of them foxtailed which I don´t mind - free bud in my book! This will def get a space in my tent again and I love to see my friends faces when I pull a nug of the really black pheno out! Good job Sweet Seeds

Cheers swampman - looking forwards to running these pretty girls again soon!

Man those are beautiful. I know whats going to be in part of my order :grat::drool::jaw:

LOL!

AlwaysAutos' house...where the trees are growing and the Mars bars run scared! Nice yield!

From the first pic, you can totally identify the black pheno

Nice, makes me want to go pre-harvest a little nug (thoughts?).. I'm soon harvesting 2 out of 4 Black Creams(2 last ones is one late bloomer and one seed planted a while after the others), 1 green pheno and 1 purple-ish. 300g is a good yield, I'm hoping for at least 100g from the 2 plants I'm harvesting first but it's my first harvest so it's hard to do any guesstimating.

Hey Neko - they are lovely plants to grow - watching the colours develop is awesome!

Trapper, Mars Bars come to Casa Always to die an undignified death!
That black pheno started showing colour as soon as she lifted her skirt and showed me her bits - she foxtailed like crazy too!

Hey Dr. I often sneak a test bud before I harvest - for me its a reliable way to tell if they are ready (especially if you get a pheno where trichs won´t turn amber!). Plus I´m an impatient bugger!

Hi all I'm a brand new grower. And must have been reading constantly for about the last month on how to grow. I have taken the leap and got myself some black cream seeds also trying out dark devil and somango. Was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice as this is my first grow. I am not able to grow under lights at the moment. So I am growing these outside. I have germinated them and they are all in jiffy pellets at the moment and seem to be doing ok. I'm about a week in and all for have split thier shell and are about 1" tall. Advice on what soil nutes and anything else would be much appreciated. Also how much could I realistically expect to yield from a black cream plant grown outside in the uk

Hey Dannyo. The best advice would be to start a grow diary either in the Sweet Seeds sub forum, or the new growers forum, and you will get as much help as you need - I´m continually amazed at how helpful this site is!

I´m not gonna try and give you advice as I only grow auto´s inside under lights, but there are plenty of outdoor farmers here who I am sure can help you out! Best of luck man, I´ll keep a look out for your diary!
