No problem man. That's just what it looks like to me. Definitely at 13" knowing that now. It isn't always too close it just depends on the light, space, amount of plants, and strain. I'd say maybe even 16-17" would work. Just test it and see. I'd say it would clear up in less than a week hopefully. Also, I am waiting on Muddy to pick up on all of this so he can either back me up or correct me as he knows better than I do. Still worth a try until then. Good luck. :wiz:

Squid out. Peace

Your the man squid, I was able to get it to where it is up a little higher, I will have to measure how far but it is much better. Thanks for the help.

squids advice is good! during veg the consensus is 18 to 24 inches, during flowering 12 inches. i also run two blackstars. but i dont think that is the problem with the sick plant, with my first indoor grow i had lights at12 inches when they were seedlings and did not get any burn. i took muddy's advice and raised the lights. a true color pic of sick plant will help the experts diagnose the problem. all the girls look delightful:thumbs:

I have mine at about 12" now too but it's not a Blackstar. It is 240 watts so I wasn't sure. I assumed the Blackstar one, even though they look exactly the same, was a little better somehow, so I figured it was a possibility of bleaching because other than the color the leaves veins and all look fine. And yeah good shot astronomy I thought about last night that a pic in normal light would probably help. I have a little baby that looks like her tips are ever so slightly yellow under the LED but when I pull it out under room light it's fine. Also, when you back it up you'll get better coverage depending on your area and # of plants. And again I say, I am awaiting on Muddy's approval or disapproval on what's going on here. Or Joe Dirt. I'd say I am pretty good at troubleshooting as I do this with other plants and I run live and studio sound for bands and it ALWAYS involves taking steps to figure out what the hell is wrong. To me it is similar to plant troubleshooting. Although I am still a nube I try my best at helping people out on here because that's what it's all about and the quicker and more responses we get the better it is for everyone. BUT I don't know everything and will feel much better when one of the higher ups show up. What I know is countless hours(I'd say hundreds) of dedicated research including forums, chats, videos, live help and anything you can find on the net. I do critical research and compare info from several sources before I justify what seems to be most appropriate for the situation.

SO. I hoped I helped again I'm sure your girl will be fine.

Hey thanks again astronomy420 and squidherb33, I really appreciate you guys taking the time to help me out. I moved my light up anyways just to make sure, but when I get home I will take some normal pics. I thought about that too and knew i needed to but I just didnt have time last night. I have noticed under the LED's that you can see a little discoloration and outside the light it looks fine, I kinda like that because I feel you may be able to catch a potential problem early on by noticing that it is starting to change. Anyways thanks again and Ill try to have new pics up soon.

I made it home and was able to take some pictures of my plants outside of their box. I hope they are clear enough to see what may be the problem. Take a look and tell me what you think I need to do please.

hows your ph? looks like it might be high
well i checked the runoff on the biggest plant yesterday when I watered and it came out at 6.42 I am not sure about the others. when I check with my crappy soil pH tester they say 6.5 but that could mean anywhere from 6.0 to 7.0. I just watered yesterday but I can give some lower pH water to flush them out and try to bring it down a bit if that is the problem

It still looks bleached to me in the reggae light. That's just my opinion. Your ph isn't bad. Could lower just a little but wouldn't think it would do that.
