I remove them occasionally as well. For air flow, to get to soil for easier watering, when tucking isn't working etc.

Good Morning All!
Today the ladies are on n Day 45 and are just as pretty as can be. Lots of bud sites on gorilla glue not so much.Gorilla glue will get a reduction of MegaCrop and I will add some bud explosion to her feed. Gelato not yet. As far as removing fan leaves I will start removing the leaves that do not get much light.

@twentyeight.threefive i will as @Mañ'O'Green said the same thing. I keep thinking that by defoliation it’s like removing a hand or foot

I don't defoliate except for airflow underneath in late flower. The leaves are the little energy factories for the plant. If you remove them the plant just wastes time and energy to regrow them.

They look great bud glad to see its working well for ya, as for defol goes only dead leaves as u don't have a par meter 300ppfd is needed to photosynthesize so if the leaf isn't getting that it's sucking energy but without being able to check if there are@ 250ppfd or less ur just gessing I personally tuck them I even wrap branches in the leafs stem to help train the branches works well for me give that a shot.
