Big leaves burned !!

Sorry guys, here are infos

Problem: big leaves burned stiff and harsh on the surface and from pics abobe she looks realy down.

Medium: Soil 70% and perlite 30 %

Feed and supplements used: Advanced nutriens, i started with 1/4 of dose in week two, had N excess and done 3 plain ph watering, had another N excess becouse i stared early with N nutes and another 3 plain waterings, 10 days ago gave her nutes for flower with no N, and soon problem acured, so yday went back to grow nutes.

Water source: tap water watering by hand

Strain and age : Night queen day 46 she strted early to flower in beginig of week four.

Climate: Day 26C night 22C 50-50 % RH

Light used : Migro 200 ; 225w LED 36 cm from top

Additional info : done runoff test yday and it was 6,5 ph and 925ppm, plant is in this shape maybe a week or so

Here is pic from yday when i done some more lst which is probably mistake since the plant is sick..

Thanks and take care @Waira @Mañ'O'Green

Can you give more information about what kind of soil you are using, store bought or mix your own? what is in it?

Here are specificatons for soil name is Potgrond H ,i was mixing with perlite. Thats all i can find you about soil, or you asking for something different and i don't understand, sorry for my bad english.

pH – 5,5 – 6,5
pH (CaCl2) – 6,0
EC – 40 mS/m (+/- 25%)
(NPK 14:10:18) – 1,5 kg/m3

Ok so Potgrond H is peat. It is fairly heavily amended to start and this may be why you saw some excess N.

I do not see any signs of N toxicity now so you may have used or rinsed it out. I would start fertigating with 50% strength nutrients and add a extra 50 PPM of Cal-Mag. just every other feeding.

Keep us posted with fresh pictures after a few days.

Hi guys here she is after few days, she is looking a bit better but there are some burns stil and maybe a new problem few veins are getting white, buds are getting bigger but leavs when i touch them smell like swamp and basicly whole room smells like that.

Have a question about this soil, since it's amended like that should i have strted feeding later (week 3 instead of week 2) or use as small as posible nutes with lots of N ( i'm using grow 2-1-6, bloom 0-5-4 , micro 5-0-1jungle juice) or not use them at all in the beginig, or just skip micro coz he is richest with N?

Thanks and take care.

That smell is an indicator of anaerobic microbes - Root Rot. Are your pots sitting above the run-off and are you pumping it away? If the pots are just sitting in the drainage you will have problems with root rot, salt build up and insects. If you have good drainage and the pots are not sitting in water then you are watering too often because that smell does not lie. Get some Botanicare HydroGuard and add 2ml/gallon of nutrients. You need to get this ASAP

It is a constant battle to try to know what and when to add nutrients to precharged media. I don't use it or recommend anyone else to use it. When you start with a blank slate like coco/perlite you know precisely what and when to add.

Fix the root problem first. HydroGuard will clear it up in a couple of days. Be sure you fertigate with balanced nutrients to 15% - 20% run-off to deal with any salt build up.

What you need to learn about watering will come with practice. Here are the basic rules: Never let the soil dry out. Soil and or coco can become hydrophobic if allowed to dry. This means it repels water. This in turn will create dry pockets in the soil and roots there will die. If your soil - coco have accidentally dried out use a surfactant to help re-wet it. I like yucca powder. Don't let soil remain soggy by watering too much too often. Root rot, damping off, molds, fungus gnats and other problems start in soggy soil. When you do water water the entire pot. How to learn when to water starts before you plant the seed. Fill your container with fresh soil/coco and weigh it (heft it) this is the lightest weight and consider it a dry pot. Now slowly water until the soil/coco will no longer absorb the water and run-off begins; weigh the pot (heft it) this is the maximum water, the wettest the pot can get. The difference between wettest and driest is the maximum water weight, for ease of explanation lets just say the water weighs 20 pounds. When the pot loses 10 pounds (half of the water weight) it is time to water again. There is an art to watering.

I have not used any of those products and cannot attest to there usefulness in your situation. You need help ASAP. The plants can just die in short order. This is a similar product to HydroGuard but at a much stronger concentration. It is not listed for the use we want but other members here have used it successfully.
