good start mate make sure they well dry out between watering are you sure there 2.5 g pots aka 10l-11lites?
as they get bigger i would top up the compst they will rocket in the next 10 days

i bought the pots in cm and the pots say 21cm whichi got told on another fourm is the equvilent to 2gl,soz not 2.5gl .when potted them into the pots i put the plants about 3in into the pots.can i ask why should i top up the soil i will coz u said so but was just woundering?.

well 2g is minimum for a big plant and you only 3/4 filled them so you have about 1.5 gallon in them.

I would have planted the pucks straight into the final pots filled when watered 1/2" from the rim of compost (more media more bud mate)

my pots are taking easily 10 days to dry out more o2 the roots the quicker they grow as well think aeroponics!
but to be fair they look fine and seem to be liking the compost well done!

ok that makes alot of sense (more soil more bud) i like the sound of that:booya:
*can i ask then will the roots make there way up to the top of the pots?
*ive also been useing molasses 1tsp to 1gl for the last 2 waterings is this right and should i up it in flowering?

i would cut it back to at least once a week to prevent overdosing and yes the roots will work up the pot until midflower ish but let them get a bit taller first soon they will grown an 1" per day!
you could give a light dose of biobizz grow/fish mix 1ml per litre and see how they react but skip 1 molasses

yes mate is actually suposed to be a veg nute but it works very well for flower just a small dose mind

bottom line it works well as you can see on my plant at week 5.5
