New Grower Big Buddha Critical Mass Autos - finishing time?

Hey all :howdy:. I've a question for anyone who's grown the abovementioned little honeys: mine are on Day 48 & are showing brown pistils - how long did yours go after this?

Well I guess anyone who HAS grown BBCMA and remembers how long their's went after clocking the first brown pistils is keeping this info' to themselves!

For the record, I'm taking the 1st of 9 down today (Day 63) having seen 50% amber trichs yesterday (from maybe 5% ambers a week ago). There's 2 distinct phenos with this grow: a shorter, indica-alike with a well-defined cola & a gangly ruderalis. The indicas are finishing quicker. BB say 65 - 80 days, so this one is an early bird but 50% ambers is riper than I usually take plants so harvest day it is for this wee honey.

I clipped a bud off last night & dried it in the oven. Have just smoked my first pipe of the day & can barely type this! It's a very strong body stone (no surprise at 50% ambers), will be good for aches & pains and deeply relaxing after a hard day's work I reckon.

Can't wait to get it dried & cured and find out what it actually tastes like.

Very surprised that yours is going that quick, even the sites say 80 days. I chopped mine at 70+ days, and they still could have went another week or so. I wasn't too happy about the yield either as it was low, but what can you do. The smoke is nice enough.

Differant strain but i had an auto bomb that fineshed in exacaly 60days from seed under CFLs

Hi nice . I reckon one or two of mine will go 70+ too - it's only this 1 plant that's ready. One or two others are showing ambers, most are cloudy but there's a couple showing clear still. Don't think these wee girlies will be big yielders either .

Crikey si - that's quick. I'm having to recalibrate my head with these autos - have got so used to waiting 13 - 15 weeks

Yep, when it's ready it's ready mate. They are a nice plant to grow, but hitting 'critical mass' nope - maybe 'critical miss' As long as we're not smoking dealer weed though, then it's all good.
