its crazy and ive got a great little routine from wet trim directly into the bags ive done so many harvests that way and ive never ever had plants or buds smell like hay as some folks sometimes get

@davisgirl

Here are the pics as promised.

First pic is the veg tent, now a flowering tent to get these gals going. Top left is a Super Sativa Seed Club Lava Freeze, both plant on the right, top and bottom are Mega Buds Giant Skittlez, and bottom left is Ace Seeds Panama (gonna be a handful I'm sure).

@Myself SSSC Lava Freeze, night temps are 19C/66F day is 26/79F but it is enough to bring out some nice purple

Sweet Bread from the top, she is sticky and bulking up nice

Second Sweet Bread, she has more resin but is smaller and not as robust

Mega Buds Giant Skittlez, she is behind due to issues at start of flower but she will do fine. The two additional plants are much bigger but not a part of this grow off. I will get my journals updated and post them in there

One last shot of the "baby box", with a lot going on. It's amazing what you can cram into a 2x3 area. Plants in solo cups hate me, but until they show sex they are staying in them. One is a confirmed girl but I need to harvest a plant in another tent for room to transplant her....

Wow River you’ve got some super fine flower there. Bravo!

talking about brown bags. I always use them in the drying process, but first I like to hang the whole plant for a few days before bags.
been using brown bags for 50 years of drying cannabis. :thumbsup: used to do it all in bags. I found by drying the whole plant it slows down the drying,and a slow dry is best. then in to bags for a day or two. then in to jars. Mason jars are a new thing, only been using them for the last ten years.
used a seal a meal before them. getting harder to find BIG brown bags.:cheers:

My outdoor dinafem gorilla. The one i didn't enter into battle. She goes in garage at night to mid 30 temps. Been low 20s outside at night but 50 and 60 days. Doesnt seem to bother her much, leaves turnin beautiful blue

Yup, just how I do it, too. I notice a slight hay smell on some strains from time to time...but only for the first day or two in jars. After they've been burped a bunch of times, the hay smell goes away and the terps start coming through.

I have tried drying all ways too, and find that hanging to dry then trimming dry seems to be the best, but I dislike dry trimming. I may try wet trimming the plant and hanging the entire to dry, and see if that is just as good. I got better results than breaking the plant down right away and drying in bags, but I am looking for a happy medium for quality vs time investment.

I have used the yard waste bags, they are huge but I cut the bag in half and there is a great deal of surface area for larger buds.
