New Grower Big Bang Auto. DWC, 2nd grow

This is my 2nd grow.
Got seeds from worldwideseeds
400w MH
General Hydroponics nutrients
Hydrotone
3 3/4 net cups
Airstones
4 10 gallon Rubbermaid storage containers (also growing non autos)
Carbon filter
Ph is between 5.8-6.3
Temp is way to high 86F, I put another fan in there (Now have 2 fans)Didn't help, so I made the 4 inch intake into a 6 inch intake. I don't think that worked. I'm all out of ideas to get the temp down. Closet space is 5 1/2 x 4 x 8 feet tall. If the temp gets any higher I may pull the plug. I'm not comfortable with temps that high. My first grow was at the beginning of winter so temps were great. Any suggestions on how to get temp down would be greatly appreciated.

do you have a magnetic ballast for the MH?
if so,you might consider a CMH bulb made in 400w by phillips,
they run cooler.
do you exhaust the hot air out of the closet?
if all else fails and you can't leave the closet open to get more air in
maybe its time to think about LED or T5 lighting during the hot weather.
just my 2cents..I have a closet grow myself ,now under t5 instead of hps
because the heat from the hps made me run the fan on high and leave the closet
door open and my wife quickly tired of the noise and the "glow" in the master BR closet.
now the door stays closed and temps are in the high 70's f with the can fan running under half speed.
how are your res temps holding? DWC temps can be hard to control this time of year.
frozen bottles of water in the res helps and putting your air pumps in a mini-fridge will pump cool air into the res.
also there might be some benefit in a DIY co2 system to supplement your plants that are struggling under the higher than optimal temps.

Day 30. 4 big bangs. Everything is fine. Looking good. They have shown sex. Also have 4 non autos. Here are some pics. I know this is autoflower but can anyone tell me if this non auto looks like a male? I'm not sure.

Also, I had a temp problem, was almost 90f. I made my intake from 4 inch hole to a 6 inch hole and it helped big time. Temp now is around 83 at the highest. My last grow is still in jars. The smell is there but the taste isnt yet, it's getting there.

Hey man, I don't see any sign of sexing in the pics. Your plants look good though, have you changed the light cycle on those photo plants to 12/12. If not they haven't sexed yet and that is why i don't see them.

Day 38, going half strength. Will be doing full on next weeks feeding. They love it. They are over 1 foot tall. Flipped them to 12/12 5 days ago. I got big bang so I could grow non autos too. But everything is looking great, looks like a jungle in my room. Will post pics, lights are off for another hour and half.

Day 90! Sorry haven't posted anything. Nothing much to post on the autos. They are doing great, not one problem from them. Started with 4 big bang, one was a herm. The big bangs are very stringy but it seems the more they bud up the less the stringyness. They are a little over 4 feet tall with nice side branches. I also started with 8 non autos, 2 were male and 2 were herm. 3 are doing great but one is 5 feet tall with many colas, looks great and healthy but it won't flower. It shows sex but no buds and if it would start budding then it would produce more and the 3 autos. Lights not getting to it so I don't know.? But I will never ever in this life time grow anything but autos. The autos just grow without any problems but the non autos suck..lol. Iv also looked at pics from my last grow at this same time and noticed how much difference 18 hours of light makes a big difference. My current grow is 12 hours of light cause thats what was recommended with big bang. But they are behind in producing buds with the 12 hours of light. Last grow at 90 days was much fatter.
