?best way to breed fungi?

I was wondering today if I could somehow use the unopened bottles of products that contain Ecto- & Endomycorrhizal fungi to grow more myself instead of buying more. I was thinking about using a rice water formula(or something else),PC sterilizing jars filled with rice water, and using a sterilized syringe to suck the products from the bottles and inject into the jar.

Would that work? Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

That receipe is for microbes and that is different then mychorrizae.I really don't know how you would make mychorrizae,but I don't think its that easy.The price of store bought mychhorizae is coming down with more and more companys producing it.I dont think it's worth the hassle even if you could produce it.I still have some I bought a year ago because you really don't use much.Go ahead and try and find out if it is possible to produce mychos and give it a shot ,it can't hurt.

Thanks namvet. I was able to find this http://www.rollitup.org/organics/500852-snafus-mycorrhizae-propagation-technique-myko.html so I know its possible but I want mine to be in liquid form. I guess ill give it a try.
If anyone has any recommended ingredients for my liquid culture please post them.

Common TEK for liquid cultures are PDA= Potato Dextrose Agar,
MEA= Malt Extract Agar (With or without Peptone).
Others:

• Karo (You want the clear one that has the red label; "Light with Vanilla". DO NOT get the dark Karo, such as the one containing brown sugar)
• Honey (Non-organic has been known to work, but organic honey is highly recommended.)
• Corn sugar
• Light malt extract (or extra light. The lighter the better, because it will make it easier to observe growth in the jar.)
• Dextrose (glucose)
• Read up on Mushroom Liquid Culture Tek

Good tip glrk! I am great at making mushroom lc. Not so great at the rest lol. I usually use the karo and dry malt extract recipe. Should I try several different kinds of lc or just stick with the basic?
If anyone has any idea about what would be best please let me know.

Build a super soil and keep the microbes/fungi fed. Problem solved.

For all the effort of making microbes I'd save my time and buy some, the older I get the more valuable my time becomes and I'd rather pay someone for them. I'll be watching to see if you come up with a low cost/labor process.

I gotta get a microscope and do just a little more reading. I might also go to the local college and see if I can talk to someone that's well educated on this subject. I decided that if I'm doing this, I'm doing it right. I already spend enough money on other things so if I can find a low cost way for this then I feel its worth my time.
