I'm a firm believer also that waiting for amber trichs on autos gives a different effect than photos. I harvest autos at almost all cloudy and I get the same result as a photo with 30% amber. For that reason quite a few autos are really good at day 70. Dinafem Critical Plus 2.0 is one that finished under 70 days and was stellar. I found it to be pretty bullet-proof also.

This is only my opinion and I'm sure others will disagree...

I harvest autos when the trichs are mostly milky, or cloudy...right before they turn amber. I find that autos and photos are very different in that regard. I find that an auto at mostly cloudy has the same effect as a photo does with 30% amber. I find...that an auto with 30% amber is past its peak and it makes me feel sluggish. That cloudy trich harvest window for autos has generally been around the 70 day mark...YMMV and all that!

Late harvested weed is what gets me to where I need to be. I was long waiting for a plant to amber and it never did. I think it might have been a Mazar. Someone here told me that some strains wont amber, and the plant was looking like a very old lady so I chopped.

I still got the late harvest I was after, effects and all. I guess that its the age past maturity that truly makes the difference, but strains that amber can give you a barometer to measure by.
