Since i am going to start my first grow with autos. I would like to know which strains are the most productive so my effort dont be a waste. I am going to use hydro medium and a 400w HPS for 4 plants and LST them. One of my choises is easy rider and maybe an automazar, but i would like to have 4 different plants there so i am looking for other 2-3 different heavy yielding strains. Also i am thinking of putting something special there which can provide me some purple buds. If anyone have experience in this subject please tell me your opinion. THX

Welcome to AFN...been growing autos for years....NONE have been a waste IMO...

What strains do u suggest ?
my goal is to get around 150g from 4 plants with the setup i mention in the thread
I am gonna use 3 galon pots and General Hydroponics flora series i am gonna do the whole grow with optimal conditions(temp/humidity/air circulation) I wanna do all perfect

I gotta throw Mi5 in here for yield and potency.

What about joint's doctor easy rider any experience with that ?
I have some height issues i don't want a plant taller than 50-60 cm after LST

No personal experience, but it has AK47 in it so yields should be pretty good.

I have seen 3-4 oz a plant in hydro I think you made a good choice others to look out
MI5
onyx
AA
but the new super autos yield more but take forever to flower

150 grams might be a little ambitious for a first auto grow. Mi5 would be my choice for a great balanced stone and high yield.

I grow inside in hydro bubbly tank and I average about 20 grams per plant. The yield might be higher under stronger light cause I use 1400 watts of CFL. High intensity bulbs may be better but I have a heat problem in the Summer with them. I grow Mi5, snowryder and a cross of the two. I like the cross better than the two uncrossed mostly because the phenos are easier to control. I am up to F3 on the cross and concentrate on the pheno that is mostly single colon which suits my sog growing styIe. I have my F3 cross to the point where it is 70% single colon type and will keep gong with the cross, maybe it will get better. I am getting a lot of free seeds from seed companies and so which I hatch and grow in the tank and so far I haven't had one in the tank I like better. AA, SCH and RRF are all great plants and very good yielding but are all too big for my growing style. Better outside in the Summer.

Good luck on your grow.
