100% perlite, I thought the verm was for water/nute retention

I'm a soil guy, so, just curious about hempies as I've seen awesome results before.

Do you do the maxibloom lucas formula or do you have another?

Urrp, guess I should have looked at your sig first :smoke:

For the perlite, I feel like the verm gives me too much mushy craziness. Going the 100% route just feels easier.

I go the maxibloom route. Flora nova might be more popular. I just happened to buy maxibloom. Hempy + Lucas is just a method I've grown to really find simple to manage. I can get lost a bit keeping track of everything even with good notes. I've seen some impressive grows just out of soda bottles.

Hi guys first time growing would like someone to help is out .. Iv a White widow auto wondering when to start veg n flowering feeding if anyone can help is please do

I'm afraid I'm not the one with answers but I'm looking for answers to the same question so I'll sit in here and listen if you dont mind.

Are you looking to use chemical or organic nutrients?

dropping Fox Farms ocean forest/Light Warrior and going with sunshine #4. Planted a ton of veggies today, bought a big bag of sunshine cuz it was one of the cheaper soils. After playing with it all day, I got 2 think different in it this evening with the leftovers from the garden. Why does Ocean Forest have that "crust" on top after watering and drying? Not bad mouthing FF, but it does have Ph swings out of the bag and you have to amend it with dolomite lime to keep the ph under control. I would suggest for you to try a type or brand, see how it works for ya, then try another...:gthumb:
