New Grower Best reasonable Ph Meters

I found this on a listing that has the item for sale

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hanna-Inst...036107?hash=item33d55df2cb:g:1mkAAOSwaWhZzD0j

:The HI98103 Checker pH tester has been designed with many advanced features while maintaining the look and feel of the original Checker. The redesigned Checker now offers automatic calibration to one or two points, automatic buffer recognition, calibrated buffer tags, stability indicator, low battery indicator, and selectable automatic shut off.

Does this mean it no longer needs calibration fluids? Doesnt seem to come with any in this listing?
Thanks for all the replies everyone, i really apopreciate all the info and will be looking into all of them.

@sonlyajoke

Pretty sure you need a PH7 calibration fluid. You also want to keep the tip of the meter moist by having a little of the fluid in the cap of the pen so the tip is kept moist when not being used. Don't skimp out on good storage and cleaning etc if you want the meter to last a while.

I use Essentials .. They're cheaper than bluelabs and have proved reliable over years for me. Never needed to replace anything.
