Ive got almost everything i need for my first grow.
Im down to the meters section , I believe i will definitely need a Ph Meter, i've heard of Ppm Meters used also but not sure if I need one.
Better to measure Ph from Runoff of slurry test?
So as far as Meters, what reasonably priced Meters does a Noob grower absolutely need for an AF Indoor soil grow? Any recs? What are you all using currently? All help is greatly appreciated

ill be 100% honest.
Spent $on a few cheap tests. All wasted money. Got my soil/liquid ph pen from bluelab. Not a single ph issue since.

It is about the most expensive thing in my grow besides lights and fan filter combo. But also just as important as those 2 things.

My water is also 8.4 out of the tap. Bad water

I have this one

good brand, works perfectly an comes with calibration solutions

I found this on a listing that has the item for sale

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hanna-Inst...036107?hash=item33d55df2cb:g:1mkAAOSwaWhZzD0j

:The HI98103 Checker pH tester has been designed with many advanced features while maintaining the look and feel of the original Checker. The redesigned Checker now offers automatic calibration to one or two points, automatic buffer recognition, calibrated buffer tags, stability indicator, low battery indicator, and selectable automatic shut off.

Does this mean it no longer needs calibration fluids? Doesnt seem to come with any in this listing?
Thanks for all the replies everyone, i really apopreciate all the info and will be looking into all of them.

Mine came like this

Id imagine that's standard packaging for the item. you need calibration solutions but the pen recognise the ph calibration liquid and resets itself accordingly, no screws to adjust as with some meters

@Chong's Cousin. When I first started I bought a cheaper Hanna and it worked good for a couple grows. Then it got to where it needed calibrated weekly. I was able to get a bluelab with a coupon for 89.99 best grow related purchase I have made to date.
