Best ph/ppm meter?

Looking for value but dont want to spend an arm and a leg like I did when I bought my bluelab combo meter when I grew hydro. I sold my meter and now I need a new one. Any recommendations?

PPM is easy, most of the cheap ones would be fine. If they are not waterproof, don't give them a swim, and they will do the job.

PH is another matter - the sensor element is another level of complicated and sensitive to issues like drying out. The cheapies tend to die early death, mine in about a week.

I now have the Apera with the replaceable probe, and it is still working perfectly some 8 months later. I store it in ~3M KCL storage solution. The replaceable probe means that even if (perhaps more like when) the sensor finally quits, I can get the unit back in business for not a whole lot more money than one of the "better" cheapies. FWIW, I recommend it, but it is the only serious one I have experience with.

I second this completely. Loving my Apera PH60.
