best led lights for my growing space?

For a 5x5 space I would go with individual COB lights - individual lights will give you freedom to place different color lights in different areas and you can add customize as you grow ..... also consider different plants have different light needs, with individual COB lights you adjust each to their own ....

One website that reviews other lights and sells their own is MIGRO https://www.migrolight.com/ .... Shane the owner is Flippin honest and gives excellent reviews, his knowledge base is for sure worth exploring....

Another manufacture with very high efficiency lights is Optic https://opticledgrowlights.com/ ..... Some knock because they are built in China which is true but so is the iPhone - but both products are engineered in the US

And finally, especially if wanting DYI HLG is very highly rated .... https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/

Three choices - good luck with your new lights!

Hard to make a choice with this stuff tbh. All expensive but I'm ready to spend the money. It's just that I don't want to regret my choice.

If I buy the "Meijiu dimmable 1000w 3000k led light strip use samsung 301b 660nm hydroponic kit fit" Will I need anything else? It's a full spectrum right so this is good for veg+flower?

You can pick the 3500 or 4000k models if you want. You won't need anything else, it's pre assembled and works in all stages of growth. If the light is too strong you can dim it.

Also meiju is responsive so you could try messaging them and asking what they might suggest for 5x5 around 750 watts. They might be able to work with you.

I see. Yeah, does a 1000w LED such as the one you linked me need a ballast for dimming? I have a practically new one that I use with my HPS. Perhaps you're able to dim it with the features of the light itself?

Btw, I can't find the one you linked me on desktop on alibaba's site.

Nvm I found it. Yeah I see what you're saying because it this is for 4x4 and I'm 5x5. I guess I'll try messaging them like you advised. Wonder if I should just use that and see what I can get. I'm planning on doing autos from Mephisto. Originally I wanted 12 bc people told me that's good for my space, but now I wonder how many I should run with this light for example.

Curious what type of grow - will it be variety of different plants or one just one strain / flavor - auto or photo?

Looking to do an autofeminized sativa strain. Last Indica dominant I did was photos blue cookies and it hit hard lol.

What do you think of this light. Maybe it's better to not go through Chinese sellers? Idk

Just curious - reason I ask is different strains have different light requirements so it might be tough getting one size to fit all - I like to grow varieties and burnt some girls in the center due to light being too much while others seemed starved for light on the edge of the tent .....

might wanna check out this grow out - large space variety of different plants

It isn't enough wattage or spread.

I suggested the Meiju, nothing wrong with some Chinese sellers, because if you go to the details page there is a lot it beneficial information.

This light has 4.3 umols, 1600+ ppf, with a great PPFD on the edges.

It's a great light for the price at almost 1000 watts compared to any of the other sellers mentioned. It leaves you with roughly a foot of space on each side of your tent. It comes with drivers, ballast, that are adjustable if the intensity is too high and can also be raised higher.

I build my own lights but I would go with Meiju or a few other Alibaba sellers over any of the sellers mentioned. The meanwell drivers they use are quality that I use. The Samsung diodes are the same you'll get in most full spectrum LEDs.

In one of my DIY light setups using strips similar to the Meiju light, I have several strains of autos/photos/clones under the same light with no problems in different pot size.
