Another one for the books! All 3 plants are trimmed and bagged up. Got a mix of phenos for each one although all 3 are covered in trichomes as you can see. There's definitely a skunky pine smell to each one. Plant #3 did so much that is just smells like burnt rubber, very interesting and a strong smell, although I get a hint of fruitiness when I break open a nug. Plant #2 had more of a blueberry smell to it along with that skunk/pine smell although the blueberry was prominent when you open the bag. And the biggest one, plant #1 was more of a good mix of the two, a good balance of both smells, turned out to pull the most weight as well! I've only gotten to try plants 1 and 3 so far but man are they great. Not even cured yet and it's some of the best smoke I have right now, very potent and great for daytime. Not sure it'll last till full cure Anyways, onto the pictures!
Here are the final dry weights
Plant 1 - 59g/2.1oz - 73 days
Plant 2 - 50g/1.8oz- 74 days
Plant 3 - 48g/1.7oz - 74 days
Total = 157g/5.8oz
@beavergenetics thanks again so much for putting this on, I loved the everything about the plants start to finish and will 100% jump on any future g&s you put on. Already planned on hunting down some more beans to buy.
She is changing quick think she will be done sooner than I thought Buds have a hue from all the frost on them camera doesn't show it well but it is a icing of frost nice :smoking: She will get another feeding of bennies and molasses tomorrow along with a little defoliation
Still can't get over the color on her super dark and the bud structure is pretty cool looking really thick... Still has the sweet smell but getting a dank/funky maybe even skunky and super sticky... Probably should start checking trichz but wanna let her go as long as I can wait
This Jack's Dream won't stop, still tossing white pistols. She's bigger than I expected and is almost touching the light, so there is some bleaching going on.
Any recommendations on what to do with it being so tall? She's in a 48x48x80 and the light cannot go any higher. Do I just let her go the last couple of weeks and live with the consequences?
Anyway, here are some pics:
And the main cola that is getting too close to the light:
Photos are from yesterday morning. Right at the 12 week mark. She is the lone survivor of my travel mishap. She smells like skunky, funky tropical(maybe pineapple?) If you accidently brush up against her while working in the cabinet, the residue on your skin smells of fuel. She is going to be very enjoyable once cured. Hoping to chop next week. Trichome are looking about where I want them.
Day 93 is harvest day for the lone survivor Mobstar's Dream. She is stinky. I've never smoke a GMO, and I have one growing in the cabinet now. But this girl smells like garlic & mushroom too me, with a fruity undertone. Simply incredible. And the buds are way dense. This is gonna be my New Years Eve smoke. @beavergenetics Where can I buys these beans?? I want to grow her again!!
Day 89
Harvest Day! (12/8/22)
Would of actually liked to let them grow another week or so as they were still drinking a total of 6 gallons a day and continuing to gain more weight but have to go out of town in less than 2 weeks and need everything dried and trimmed before I leave.
Had nothing but fun growing these ladies for the last few months… alway a pleasure dealing with top notch genetics. The Bananalopes grew fast, strong and healthy, even with the low budget lighting and basic nutrients I was running. They responded very well to all the abuse I threw at them and gave me consistent results. A lot of canopy maintenance and pruning with the three but the payoff will definitely be well worth it in the end. Colas are extremely dense and greasy from top to bottom with absolutely zero larf. All three turned out to be decent size plants and hopefully they will add up to some good numbers. After finally being able to cut the net away and freeing the single scrogged plant from the tent it’s obvious to me the plant is larger than the other two. She’s only growing in a 2 gallon bag of Grodan rockwool chunks and had a slow start in the beginning but really came through and eventually passed up the other two. She has well over 50 top colas on her where the others only have 30-40 each. Beautiful plant… very ascetically appealing. Caught myself just staring at the thing for long periods of time. Lol!
I’ll be back in a couple weeks to post more pics, weights and the grams per watt after everything hits 60% and I get it all cleaned up.
Thanks again @beavergenetics for giving me the opportunity to grow your wonderful cultivar.
