BC’s first KIS

:spels::vibe::spels: ----- *slobber*.... oh my, that tent must smell even better than it looks! These girls are filling out and ripening beautifully BC, what tinkering you're doing is working just fine- :greenthumb: ... nice fan fade showing too, a good sign..... Did you ever get some no-N PK supp's? Just curious,...
That Ruby reminds me a lot of Hec's girls, holding color well into bloom... This is one of the great things we see about using KIS or some other minimal input runs, we get to see how different cultivars gather, hold and use their nutes in a more or less standardized, all-things-being-equal feed regime!
The Terp Tea Bloom use, was that about the same for most all in there?

.... very nice bud shots luv! Ruby and the light purple girl (?- I've lost track) are poster girls- :hump: ... How do they smell?
And it looks like you'll gain some breathing room soon with a couple of these coming down shortly....
....Have you thought about maybe doing some supercropping/stem kinking on those leggy gals?
So right @Waira about the reduced fade on most of the plants. They each received 1T top dress Terp Tea Bloom and microbes weekly after transition. I do think the KIS combined with the top dress kept them well fed for the most part. The Funky Monkeys in 6 liters of soil have suffered.
The lavender plant is Stickman’s cross of DinaMedKush x Goldwidow CBD. She should be about 1:1. Looking forward to sampling soon. Her leaves were more blueish from the start.
I should have super cropped WD , at least, but likely just let her climb now, as her stems are pretty rigid. The beastly Samsquanch x SD back/center has large buds that will require support soon. More hands-on work than ideal. So much for a set it and forget it run. Finding pot size/cultivar size directly relates to plant health. The 5 gallons are thriving.
Used HPK in the past, but not this round. Hoping next cycle will be water only.
Fell over the hound again and fractured another finger last night, so WD x Anvil is on the menu tonight! Next dog is gonna be a little purse pooch.

Quick pic of iWumbo’s Samsquanch x Stone Dragon after the strip down. Seems there are 2girls in the 5 gallon . Planted/culled so many, didn’t realize it’s 2. Gonna be some phat sewage treatment plant smelling dank

...yeah, I'm thinking around 9L/2.5-3gal is the minimum for direct-to-final pots, IF the auto's go into bloom by week 3 and are 8-9 week lifers! Larger plants/cultivars may need to go 2-stage pots to restrict size early on, and have enough fresh soil reserves to finish well... Magic's beasties are a fine candidates for that! Same for Creeper....
I found the photo's really liked topping off the soil levels with the KIS soil, helped with pH stability as well.. But they could have used the N boost as well, which may not be the case with the auto's, certainly not mine as you saw!
It's always going to be some custom tinkering with each plant/cultivar I feel, but as long as we have the right nute goodies to supp' with, we're golden .... We'll only get better with experience with KIS too...

I need to tackle that dude and get him to cough up some of those CBD crosses! I'm ready for a change-up on that front...

 - there are worse ways to suffer, and good problems to have :rolleyes2: ...

I have to admit, that's seldom likely to be the case, but that first run was nearly just that for me... I think the cooler T's, especially at night, played a part in that, keeping them from blowing up more... The Creeper certainly would have needed supp'ing!

:yoinks: oh damn! -- that's a bummer luv,...is the hound OK? --- you can smack me for that!
Injured on the job, hope you have coverage for that... :smoking:

 forgotten 2-fer! All the better I say,... Are both similar for that super-stank? ...makes you wonder what's coming down the road here by harvest, and after dry/cure... At least they look great, ay?

Interesting you mention stench similarity. One is far more offensive/swamp/toe jam nasty than the other. Neither have what I would characterize as a lovely fragrance. The lesser stinky one has some rotten fruit funk thrown in. The Sams will finish fine, and get water only, no tea from here on out.
Hounds fine @Waira. Broke the opposite hand last year , same deal. Took the PITA to K9 university, but walked out. Looked like San Quentin. He’s obstinate and prey driven. Recipe for disaster.

:crying:I love me some rank funk, I may have to inquire about that cross! Is it fem'ed, or reg's? A multi-pot is an potential option,... Is that stank the norm' according to others or did you just get lucky?

Hounds will be hounds :haha:... My niece had a Red-Bone Coon, just thw sweetest gal you could hope for, but her nose RULED her brain, overriding her intelligence all the time! Her battles with skunks became family legend/nightmare :yoinks:-- she just could not help herself!

Regs I’m afraid @Waira . I recall starting 5 and guess I got 2 fems. iWumbo named his cross Swamp Dragon... so yes, I think more often than not, rude aromas... yum.
My hound is coonhound as well. Yes, his nose is usually to the ground, and full speed ahead. Totally in love.

Plants had to be removed from the house for about ten days. They were returned today with most ready for the chop.
This was a trial run and the next cycle should allow me to get through an entire cycle with water only. Here are a couple bud shots : Rainbow Stone Bx, Anvil, Black Ruby , and Ruby Dragon Bx. KIS is definitely a keeper!
@KIS, great stuff!!

gorgeous ladies and great photos!

Looks like they are finishing up nicely. I have a kis nutrient pack mostly full but have to get that promix before spring. Our postmistress will love that showing up in the mail

Yup, that delivery of Pro Mix HP, and 30 lbs of worm poop , and perlite in the Fall always makes me a little nervous.
The only plants that suffered were the Funky Monkeys that I tried to grow in 6 liters of soil.... big mistake, but still nice and sticky/stinky .
