I got a basic set up for some bubblegum autos:

- 3X3X6 space
- 400w hps
- 4 gallon containers
- grow medium: (roughly) 1 part coast of maine potting soil, 1 part perlite, 1 part vermiculite
- nurtrients: foxfarm's grow big for veg, tiger bloom for flower

Pretty basic. My question, and I'm open to all opinions, is besides regular NPK fertilizers for veg and bloom phases, is there any other important nutrient/additive you would highly recommend to increase overall yield or quality?

For example, there's products like Terpinator that are suppose to increase terpene production, or Bud Candy that can likewise enhance aroma and maybe even yeild. People have suggested using everything from epsom salts, molasses, and uric acid at the right time in the right concentration to increase plant productivity.

I've never used anything besides regular veg/bloom NPK nutes so I'm all ears. My only preference is to keep it simple.

If you want any additional info about the grow, just ask!

You can grow nice buds with fox farm. Make sure YOU flush for 2 weeks those nutes are chemical base super heavy in salts. If you wanna use the advanced products id start with the sensi grow bloom combo for soil. Then when you learn autos then you can start adding big buds and terpinator and so on. Most of the advanced line is used in conjunction with other there other nutes.

Fox farms never done me wrong, but researching Sensi Grow & Bloom products they definitely seem a step up. Website says its formulated with a surfactant, humates and fulvates, amino acids, and PH balance. PH balance seems like one of those keep it simple benefits of their product. I never play around with PH on my own. The prices I looked at quickly seem comparable to Fox Farms stuff so I might try this once the FFs gone.

Also might be interested in their voodoo juice for microbe development. I know the coast of maine soil I got is "alive", but I wonder how long it stays alive with all the fox farm and original cut with perlite and vermiculite. Maybe the soil microbes could use a boost?

Either way seems like Advanced Nurtients has a couple products worth checking and are reasonably priced and simple use.

Thanks for your input and I'll be sure to flush that salty Fox Farm base the last two weeks!

I picked up overdrive, but also on my first grow, so won't have any base to go on. Looks like you've got a decent handle on things. Enjoy, have fun and burn up! Good luck!
