Looks alot like its drying out, discolouration and some white perhaps mould coming up from the roots. This plant is in a clear pot and can see the odd white Gnat, I usually blow some big vape hits in there nice n slow, makes all the flying gnats hit the floor and easier to kill haha. Any help appreciated!

Hi..Clear pots are NOT ideal.Light penetrates and can cause serious problems in root development and nutrient uptake.Instead of transplanting right now I would set those pots in dark colored ones.White mold coming up from the roots?Yup the clear pot is probably your problem.Another option would be to paint the pot, wrap it in duct tape, anything but stop the light from getting to your roots.
Should probably take care of those gnats properly as well.

try to find the most powerful UV light you can , it will kill mold , algea / fungus , they make them for purifying water but are costly , you could try a reptile cfl bulb , they make them up to 10.0 uv , they are also great bulbs for vegging with

as mentioned , cover your pots with something so they are no longer see through and try to deal with the pests

best of luck and peace

Is this still a seedling? If so, it looks like damping off, judging by the way the stem looks. Mix 1 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide to a quart of water and mist it a couple times a day for a few days. That will take care of it. Here's more info on damping off: https://www.autoflower.org/f42/damping-off-causes-treatments-1946.html

I agree on the clear pots, not the best to use. Also, that soil doesn't look very good. Lots of bark and no perlite. I would consider getting some better soil and transplanting them into a new pot with better soil.

Thank you both for your slightly differing takes, whilest still along the same trend, gives me confidence!

I Inititally used clear so's that I could see the root/water/pest situations but seems to have backfired hahaha live and learn.
Pot has decent sized holes all around sides and bottom for air yet still, theres noticable condensation on the other side of plastic, caused possibly by the light penetration.
(only ever splashed some water on every 2-3 days)
It's lights out time for plants so will try cover them up tonight. Might try my UV if I can find it.

Going to try remember to post results after some days pass.

By the size of the stems base you would have to think its a seedling! but actually about 30days old, 5th set of leaves are still devoloping, growth in nodes and some hairs on the head.

Lived outside 10ish days then pull it inside as we had a couple weeks of HEAVY rain, lived stunted at 6-7in inside until I found a better bulb. Using a 240V 4100k white cfl i think, then it shot up 1-2in and 4 nodes

I'll read up on your link Muddy, as i was hoping you'd jump in.2012-06-28 23.36.53.jpg2012-06-28 23.20.45.jpg

Yeah Muddy, its pretty dodgey looking mix but not quite as bad in real life, I did at the beginining mix in some perlite with my soil. Was actually worried it had hit a mean chunk of it in the roots and was possible burn. This is another pjem same conditions, which i tried practising some lst'ing and I ropped it down in 4 places one day and stem still is healthy at the base.2012-06-28 23.22.11.jpg

You may have had a bit of damping off in the beginning, enough to shrink the stem up a bit but not enough to kill it. Far as I know damping off is the only thing that causes that in the stems.

I would still recommend transplanting it into a better pot with better soil. What size are those pots? They look a little small.

4-500ml approx. they were 1ltr+ water bottles cut in halves, think thats around 16oz cup comp y'all had. Wanted them larger than this, but as first run, ending with 1 or 2 little nugs wouldnt hurt :)

Can list whats in the soil in the morning, its 12.40am here, only reason I'm going outside is for a final oily hashy bong!

Hope what you say is true and it was just some delayed damping off, I'm not sure of my transplanting skills been a few years and this is my fav plant... think the other is going hermy.

The hydrogen peroxide will need a shop run, will work on that!

thanks!

Was about to leave to grab some hydrogen peroxide but then remembered I'm broke until monday haha..

Wrote down some info on the bags of mix I used:
30% Standard Nursery Soil, which seems to contain just mainly dry brown dirt, some peanut shells and some pebbley/rocks(mainly placed at base but also mixed through.

50% Searles - Real Premium Potting Mix
Contains:- Flourish(soluble plant food)
- Robust Plus(controlled release fertiliser)
- Penitrade, water crystals & zerolite( rewetting granuals)
- Complete plant food plus trace elements(not mentioned)
- "Feeds plants for upto 4months" I'm asking for just 2months

20% Garden & Vegetable Special(all perpose fert. for root/plant/flower/yield devolopement)
Contains(%W/W):- Nitrogen (N) as ammonium 10.9
- Nitrogen (N) as Nitrate 1.4
Total Nitrogen 12.3
- Phosphorus (P) as water soluble 1.5
- Phosphorus (P) as citrate soluble 0.5
Total Phosphorus 2.0
Total Potassium (K) 10.7
- Sulphur (S) as sulphate 8.5
- Magnesium (Mg) as sulphate 0.92
- Manganese (Mn) as sulphate 0.92
- Iron (Fe) as Ferrous silphate 0.08
- Copper (Cu) as coppersulphate 0.04
- Zinc (Zn) as zinc 0.04
-Boron (B) as Borate 0.02
- Soil wetter granules 0.12

Found some slightly larger pots/none clear ha.. might start a magic D in one of them and attempt a transplant if i cant get ahold of some hydrogen peroxide for my #1 jem and throw away this 2nd pjem possible hemi/male. Need to get a good close up of this pollen looking sack in its 3rd node so's i can get me some help!

I thought they were still seedlings when I recommended the hydrogen peroxide. It won't hurt at this point but it's really just for damping off in seedlings.

Couple of things in your soil mix that aren't good for autos. Slow release nutrients can be problematic and aren't recommended. We've seen them cause all kinds of issues growing autos. Same with the moisture retention crystals. Autos like to go through wet/dry cycles and those crystals can interfere, keeping the soil too wet.

What part of the world are you in? I'm sure we can recommend a better soil, more suited to growing autos.
