So I wasn't nosing around the garden and the top branch from where I made my top split, right down the maristem on the mimosa. The branch seems OK. Its still as alive as the other branches and the split has already started to callous over. I think its just gonna form a big knuckle there. I wish I would have seen it sooner, I would have taped it up. Its super fragile, I've loosened up on the training wire and actually bent it to support it now
.its still supporting its own weight and was still pressed into the wire. Who knows that branch could have the dankest bud on the whole plant, we'll see how it progresses
Should also note the girls are starting to look a little hungry, new growth is a little yellow again. I figured they would eat up most of what I gave them pretty quick. So I think I will be giving another 500ppm veg feed and vegging for about another 10ish days, dropping the net and flipping to flower. By then the knuckle on the split should have mostly formed. Might throw up the other net I bought after the stretch and last defoliation.
