Banana Split

Howdy folks

I've decided to share with you a little joint venture between myself and Mr Kip, who has been kind enough to let me use two of his most precious seeds, Platinum Banana OG

Unfortunately one seed doesn't seem to be playing ball so we'll leave that to one side for now but the other is growing really well.

Part one will be to grow this seed out, take some clones to reverse and then make ourselves a nice stock pile of seeds to start working from.
After that... who knows, lol. No, I do have some ideas but I'll fill you in as things move along.

She's a little bit further along than in this picture but I'm just playing catch up. I'll get another update done in a few days

what kind of crosses you have in mind, banana kush still my holy grail strain... my wifes favorite flavor is banana and she needs indica dominate meds for her fibromyalgia but i've yet to grow any bananas... look forward to what you have in mind for these

Well now, there's a question lol. I have a few ideas to add a little more of an Indica bite to it, while still holding onto the Banana funk.
If I ever manage to pull an Indi dom Vanilla Kush I'll reverse one and cross it with the Banana but time after time I keep getting hit with Sati pheno's so I need to do a little more searching before I can think about that one.

I do have another strain in mind to use, one a little more on the tropical side. I've got some seedlings growing atm looking for a beefy little male to hold on to and collect some pollen. I'll keep you posted

Just after I posted that message I thought 'Hmm, I haven't looked at my current Vanilla Kush in quite a while, I wonder what she looks like'

Well, she's actually a lot more Indi than I thought, not as much as I'd like but more than I thought. Looks like I may have a contender. I'll flower her and she what she smokes like

Oh yeah lol, here's the Banana OG now. She has the trademark Kipper's twist going on but that's nothing to worry about, the second set of leaves look perfectly fine

If I remember correctly both of yours did this didn't they Kip?

Cool beans dude, she's on plain water atm and will stay that way for a while yet. Just had my switch around so she's now sat under the LED

Day 11
