Hey all

Would just like to start this threat with a massive thank you to Tony and the rest of the guys at Dutch passion for sending me a wonderful little goodie bag. Beautiful seed brochures guys!! Really appreciate it.

So for the moment I will be starting with the auto white widow and an auto ultimate, however they were also kind enough to send me a medical strain I asked for by the name of ComPassion. At the time I didn't realise these were photoperiod, so I'll pop these in a few weeks once my tent is a little less crowded along side some Stone Dragons I've had stored away for a while that are also regulars.

Setup is 2 x 300W Led panels, mix of coco and perlite for medium, and nutes are GH flora series as base, with terpinator by rhyzoflora, AN's bud candy, and house &garden roots excellulator.

Would also like to buy some air pots but will see what happens. Shall update thread soon once beans are popped!

Much love

Been a while since my last update as unfortunately my camera broke on my phone. Planted the seedlings 3 weeks ago more or less into auto pots, and they are doing spectacularly! really explosive growth, especially the Auto White Widow, she is growing crazy strong! You can really see how the seeds with strong genetics have a clear advantage

Auto Ultimate, then the Ultimate and WW together, along with a Diesel 99 i also popped a few weeks back

DSC_1220.jpgDSC_1219.jpg

Added a spot of nutrients to the last watering but still extremely diluted, they are on about 300ppm at the moment and seem to be responding nicely to the roots excellulator from house of garden, just wish I could see the root growth like in hydro! The Auto Ultimate is showing a tad bit of N deficiency I think, but should be sorted easily enough.

Also got a Super Cali Haze on the go which is getting on towards the end of flowering, probably give it another month or so. She's a pure sativa and has taken forever to grow, granted i started her outside in mid spring and moved into the tent towards end of summer, and have gradually added the other ones.

DSC_1234.jpgDSC_1229.jpgDSC_1224.jpg

Then I have the White Sirius which has gone incredibly purple, and another Diesel 99. Unfortuantely I messed these ones up a bit by starting them off in tiny pots and re-potting them, which stunted them quite heavily, then on top of that my PH pen was uncalibrated so i fed them at a wrong PH on more than one occasion and nutrient locked them, causing them to get all burned.

Strange thing about these plants is they flowered incredibly early while I was still feeding them veg nutes, I carried on feeding veg nutes to see if they'd stretch but since they were locked out they weren't particularly growing and have now ended up with little stumps of actually very nice smelling bud. Even though the leaves are all burnt up, since I starting to feed flower nutes at the correct PH and a few runs of some epsom salts they've started to grow more flowers. So even though these aren't the prettiest to look at should still have some not too terrible smoke from them. I always try to look on the bright side and this time is that ive learnt not to start autos in small pots!!! its all about having depth when they start that inital tap root.

Hey everyone! another update:

The Dutch Passion ladies are doing wonderfully. Such a solid branch structure, and the pot is already riddled with roots! I feel the auto Ultimate is a little bit behind the Auto White Widow, but then again I also think she has some more Sativa in her. The auto Ultimate also seems to need more Nitrogen than the White Widow, as can be seen by the very slight yellowing of some of the leaves; regardless still very healthy and will be fine I think. For the pics:

The super Cali haze is doing nicely and smells good, however am still a bit unsure as to whether I'll keep this plant in bud form or just hash it, as alot of the buds seems to be quite dry in the middle im guessing due to some point when I moved it from outside to inside and it got stressed and lost alot of its leaves.

The White Sirius and one of the Diesel 99s are still quite stunted due the starting them off in tiny pots, however finally seem to be growing some more flower since switching tom to bloom nutes. May not look the prettiest but they actually smell very nice and have dense little buds, and the White Sirius is just a crazy colour of purple!

Sorry for lack of updates, took these photos about a week ago.

Got another 300W LED, this one however has 5W diodes. So now have 900W (570W Actual) of LED in my tent. The new 5w diode one is awesome, now i see the difference between the lens angles. The lens on the panels you see hanging on both sides have a much wider angle than the modulated one., so work quite good as side lights, with the 5w ones in the middle powering down. Loving the 3 way beam so far.

So far ive noticed the stems go much harder and woody, could this be down to the added UV maybe? Temps are between 22-26 lights on, and about 10 off.

The White Widow has powered straight into flower, already developing dense and hard buds. Relatively short plant, doesn't seem to have stretched much.

The Auto Ultimate is much taller showing more sativa characteristics, I have a feeling this plant is going to produce alot of bud.

Then there is the Diesel 99 which is the smallest, still vegging away. I got this seed from one of my previous Diesel 99s, however seems to be taking a lot longer to flower than the last ones i grew. Is it possible that this seed didnt carry over the autoflowering trait?

Then we of course have the Super cali haze which will be coming to an end soon. Running some GH ripen through her then a two week flush or so.

Peace all! :)

Hello everyone :) Its been a while since my last update so I apologize for that. The white widow is nearly finished i'd say, probably another month or so including flush. It's a bit shorter than I had hoped but the buds it has produced are sensational, really dense and covered in resin. Next time round she'll be bigger :). This strain has grown and developed mature buds really really quickly, just compare it to the Auto Ultimate and you can tell the difference. The Auto Ultimate is probably about half way through bloom and now in full force, its roughly twice as tall as the White Widow, and the stem structure is amazingly strong and rigid.

The Auto Ultimate you can really tell is another league of genetics, I have a second AU I cracked couple of weeks ago that I have going along side a White Sirius. Not sure how much you can see from the pictures but you can clearly tell which one is ahead (Not that one is better than the other, but you can tell how much effort has been put into perfecting these genetics). I have a feeling I may have another Think Different like grow on my hands apart from it not being hydro.

Only problems i've run into so far are a bit of leaf curling as well as some light discoloration of some of the leaves. From my research i've narrowed it down to a MG disorder? I've also moved my fan to now blow an indirect flow of air by pointing it at the tent walls and setting it to oscillate. Could potentially have been blowing too much warm / dry air directly on to the plants? The bottom leaves are still a good colour and have not curled.

Super Cali Haze, then baby Auto Ultimate and White Sirius, with the Diesel 99 i grew from a hermie seed from a previous Diesel 99 grow. Curiously it has shown female sex, but is not flowered. Is it possible to get a regular seed from an Auto parent?

IMG_1868.jpgIMG_1869.jpgIMG_1867.jpg

All advice is much appreciated!

Can someone give me a bit of information on seed production in plants? I have a Diesel x C99 on the go which came from a seed that was produced from a previous Automatic version of the Diesel x C99 I had.

By the looks of it however, the one I have growing now does not seem to be auto flowering, but has shown female sex. Could this seed just be a regular fem, or even just a regular which turned out to be fem? Im curious as to what to do with this plant, ive never breeded before but I absolutely loved the Auto D99 I had previously, the smoke was phenomenal.

Could I have stumbled onto something good here that I could potentially clone and breed with if it is indeed a regular plant? Im not 100% sure on the lineage of the strain, I believe its parents are the Cinderella 99 some sort of Automatic Diesel. I realize will require a male if i do want to breed it with another genetic, I have some stone dragon regs and a NYC Diesel i could grow out and hope for a male to breed with. Any advice on picking strains to breed with eachother?

Coming along B-E-A-UTIFULLY!

The oldest Auto Ultimate (bottom right and tallest) is starting to fill out like crazy, must have her at around 1600ppm currently (including Terpinator and AN's Bud Candy). Buds are really nice and dense, and appear to have a sort of stretched characteristic, im guessing from the sativa in it. Am having to water roughly every 2-3 days, but boy can I tell you I am looking forwards to sampling this.

IMG_1910.jpgIMG_1899.jpgIMG_1898.jpgIMG_1902.jpgIMG_1907.jpgIMG_1909.jpgIMG_1908.jpg

The Auto White Widow is definitely coming to the end of her cycle. I imagine if you really wanted to she'd probably be ready to harvest now, I think next time I grow this strain I need to take into account how short its life cycle is to already be flushing by now. It's drinking much less than it was previously, which is one of the reasons i think she's coming to the end. Have just watered her with some GH's Ripen and will start to flush next watering. Buds are super super dense, and extremely crystally. Quite a musky / earthy smell so far, very hard to describe actually.

IMG_1895.jpgIMG_1904.jpgIMG_1905.jpgIMG_1906.jpg

Then for the slightly smaller ones, there is the White Sirius at the top, then another Auto Ultimate at the bottom. I have decided to LST this plant so will be interesting to see the difference to just letting her grow naturally.

IMG_1891.jpgIMG_1892.jpg

Then comes the Diesel 99 (non-auto that came from an auto mother). I really have no idea what to do with this plant, as im not even 100% sure if its an auto or a reg plant. It came from a seed I got from my previously hermied Auto Diesel x C99, has shown female sex, but not auto-flowered. From this i take it she is just a regular that will require flipping to 12/12 to flower? Regardless she's doing pretty well and showing the typical Diesel 99 genetics I saw in my last grow (branchy as hell, i've never seen such a bushy strain that wants to grow so many branches, requires some serious training).

IMG_1913.jpg

Anyways, hope ya'll are enjoying this as much as I am :D a million thanks again to dutch passion for the free seeds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hope I can do you justice and showcase the strains the way they deserve ;) superb genetics my friends <3

itsabeautifulthing.gif you are up to.......no doubt you will ULTIMATEly be abundantly rewarded for those floral exertions stoner.jpeg

I was just wondering if someone could give little advice. The white widdow has slowed down dramatically in the amount of water she is drinking I'm guessing due to it coming to end of its lifespan, and unfortunately I only started to flush in the period when she slowed down. She is now ready to be chopped but am worried that its not fully flushed due to it not particularly drinking too much. It's been a week and she's still not finished a watering of plain water I fed last weekend. I'm worried she'll go past her best and lose some smell and flavour. Any advice what to do? Thanks!

Hey man, looking good. I wish I could help but I am new to growing. When I asked about getting answers I was told to try the live help thread. You might try there. Good luck.
