Got face-slapped by nettles and attacked by wasps, but I made it out alive
The Muay Thai was harvested today, after a terrible summer and a kinda normal autumn I decided it was time.
Mornings are foggy, humidity is between 70-90% all days and I was having fears she would start to mold bad in this weather. Tomorrow will be rainy so it had to be done.
Most fan leaves died, she was all yellow like it's supposed to be at the end of flowering. It surprised me the plant got just a little moldy spots, all consequence of pests. The plant per se was almost mold proof(it didn't spread but stayed very localized), even the dead calyxes dried without rotting(in this weather!), so most buds are clean and healthy. Mold got over less than 5% of buds which is an amazing surprise to me.
What appeared to be the top cola was in fact a branch stretching 1,5m upwards, had to cut it in 4 to be able to fit in my harvest basket
So far I'm very happy with Muay Thai, test buds proved she's a quality sativa, a bit old school compared to usual hybrids of nowdays, which is perfect for me.
Buds are far from dense, very sticky and have a nice spicy, lemony, fruity aroma. Sour sweet with pepper, spices and lemon juice.
A very rough estimate of partially trimmed buds - she will yield around or more than 300g, got the drying desk totally covered with bud
That's all for this season with superautos, got some more photoperiod sativa goodies just starting to flower which probably won't finish but who cares.
Smoke/strain reports will follow.
