thought i'd throw up a few update pics up
jobe in th back right

Whoops, just went back over the bio books. For some reason I thought archaea was the domain the encompassed bacteria as well, not just protists. Damn the confusing prokaryotes! I've never heard of protists being used in ferts before, what's the benefits from them as apposed to those supplied by endo/ecto and bacteria?

It could just be a regional thing with the fert mixes. I live in an organic gardening mecca and there's a lot available to us here. I always had good luck with the Whitney farms mix, it's what I pulled off my first indoor and guerrilla grows with. However this jobes stuff along with some 10-10-2 seabird pellets as slow release should be great for the guerrilla grows this summer, I guess we'll find out. I went out and picked up some organic rabbit-deer-small animal repellent and some sluggo. Gearing up for the summer and just waiting for more of the ladies to sex out.

Always lookin for a cheap but good organic pest spray
what did you findyourself gettin your hands on??
so so many kinds over the years more out of coinvenience and samples bein sent but... the dogs and the shotgun do the best for most regions:)
that being said can't really use the shot guns or the dogs on most guerilla grows unless a camp set-up deep in the bush is being used:P
sooo...i guess there is the spray to go to
to name a quick few used
preditor urine
human urine
dog scat
mace????wtf??yeah long story:)
homemade neem hot pepper oil 1/4 tsp of ammonia per gallon ..to spray on plants around perimeter of grow site to cut down on bugs and give a plant buffer around garden to keep out animals
have heard muddy recommend a product called liquid fence for years
hot wire
fishing line<thats alot of love right there

tons of commercial sprays but always another fairly high price to add if on a budget

I'm not at home to check but I believe this is the stuff I use. I won't step over the chemical line, especially when it comes to my guerrilla grows. Not trying to shove my ideals on anyone else, just a personal choice. Between this and spraying the little shit right in the asshole with a hose as it was going over the fence the neighbors cat has stayed out of the garden this year.

I also stay away from mace and poop. I've had incidents with both and prefer not to mess with them when I can just bring out a baggie of granules. Especially mace, don't want that near anything I'm gonna smoke. Already had enough of that from my wiley younger days.

As far as bugs I just use sluggo. Slugs are the biggest problem around where I live. The caterpillars were bad last year, not much I can do about that without visiting the grow more often. Might try and up the brix levels, but I put the plants in the middle of a huge blackberry patch and they're a real bitch to get to.

So Sati, how's things with you jobe's grow?

got a free case of it from a friend years ago and i had no use for it
your not going to gpulled peppers 005.JPGet maced if someone tresspasses on my property:)
besides it is way too expensive to mess w/
but pepper spray is a small and fairly cheap thing you can ppulled peppers 004.JPGut into a pocket for a guerilla grow
i tend to use pyrethrin foggers also in a pinch
they really fog up a plant alittle better than spraying even outdoopulled peppers 003.JPGrs if a problem
but usually use good old neem w/ a pepper mix in a pump sprayer for the yard veggies
here are some quick sorta update pics for the jobepulled peppers 001.JPG

all of these are droubt resistant(good thing we have had a bad one this year) dwarf varieties i have been working on for awhile that will do well in containers
i am very pleased w/ the jobe thus far

the smallest red is the first bloom from my lil bommer(let it really mature to the point of it drying out some on the plant for some early year seed stock
the later fruit is larger than usuall and i haven't pushed them at all due to the droubt
you can see some of the jalapeno are as big as my hands and not done yet
and the bush masters and unnamed roma hybrid
will have crazy amount of romas this year for sauce and salsa:)
will be using it on the giggle juice and some dragons soon after using it one a few next to some techna flora

as far as the comparison for the two
well you can taylor things to your specific needs better w/ alot of more expensive products but in the end it is the results
jobe w/ minimal effort has out preformed
in the tomatoe tote i did a 36 gallon tote
1 bush master 1 roma each side then treated one side w/ each it may be hard to tell from the pics
but the ones treated w/ tech are 1/3 to 1/2 the size so i abandoned the test a few weeks ago and started treating them and they are slowly catching up
techna flora is a great product
but the jobe even offered less cal/mag issues w/ no extra help
yeah there are better more expensive products out there but from what i have seen i will from now on use jobe for a base mix added to ALL my grows

004.JPG003.JPG002.JPG001.JPGmuch larger roma on right jobe smaller left techna
bush in front tech
taller bush jobe
really quite a dif
