First of all I would like to say hello :cool1:

New to the site but not to the odd grow here and there.

Ive come across a problem with my auto pot system and I aren't quite sure how to deal with it affectively, I am getting a fine build up of slime in the bottom of the auto pots its a very light brown and smells like old fish tank water :grump: any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Setup

7 pots 50ltr tank

Advance nutrients Sensi Grow A+B
Ad cal mag
Ad big bud
Ad big bud candy
Ad rhino skin
Ad bud ignitor
Ad nivarna

Thanks in advance guys

Welcome to AFN, lots of friendly and expert growers here willing to help out.

If there is an issue with what you are seeing, it is with your nute mix, not the autopots. I know nothing about your nutes, so can't advise what might specifically be going on.

Are your plants doing ok? If so, you may have nothing to worry about, if not, the smell you have could be a warning of root mischief. If the additions you are using are organic and encourage microbial growth in your reservoir and lines, you could end up with plugging or malfunction of the autovalves, so you will want to keep an eye on valve behaviour.

Good luck with it. :pighug:

you may need to get a little pump to keep your nutes stirred I've grown with autopots for a good few years also if you cant get a pump just make sure your stirring it every day make sure nothings sitting on the bottom and if you need anything else just ask bro

Is light hitting the mix at the bottom of pots? Is the cap above the auto valve on correctly?

Thanks for the help guys I think I've found the problem , I used a clear feed line to the autopots so think that's where the problem is starting ,I have made some changes to hopefully my dp autoglueberry og will finish as it should soon with no problems
