Along with any hope of exclusivity for his genetic work... for a few hundred bucks. I know of people who are willing to give away the fruits of their labor, and that is most commendable, but it should be the breeder's choice. Nobody else I am aware of has taken this project to these lengths, and many have tried. And, I assure you, we would see little ducksfoot crosses running all over the place around here... on their way to market.

Or, release just fems, or wait until the work is finished to the breeders satisfaction, and release 10,000 at one time... at least getting a first shot at the market before the hybridizors and rippers get a shot at it.

I have nothing wrong with your way of thinking either..
Either way people Wil cross it.
No way around it other than to keep it to oneself.
Even with fems there is hormone suppression to get pollen..
