I haven't been bashed or ignored once in my year of membership, and the site has literally split in two and doubled in that time!
Even though i don't post journals i'm still here everyday because theres no bullshit, In fact this is the most i've seen a staff member really speak their mind to set someone straight!

I signed up months ago and just now starting to get on here daily. I switched here because people are more willing to help you and they're just more friendly in general. While I do think the forums could use more organization, the people that have helped me out and the knowledge they have, and just the knowledge on the forum/website in general has made me switch to this being my go to forum from now on.

I have been here since Nov of 2015 and have a blast here because you can help people and learn from people good karma here. Turtle's post seems more like a troll post
This is the first post like this that I have seen which speaks volumes of the community here. It's not run like a caste system at all. We are all people that enjoy the same hobby and if you want to be well known and respected bring something to the table. Show everyone how you do things and just help people.You can't just start a thread like this without having a specific and legitimate complaint and if that is the case PM a mod but this post seems nothing more than a troll post.Try doing this at ICMAG and see how long you last Mr Turtle.

While I don't think staff should be calling members ignorant and I miss the tenor when advice was given by the likes of Muddy (he never barked, never gloated), I may have put my sentiments into words poorly chosen. I apologize to those offended.

Mrs turtle..people get defensive when they think you are putting down something they Care about.... human nature.

It was a strange question to Ask in the first place..I saw it and didn't answer coz it looked Trollish to me too.....and that is how Trolls work..by picking on something that they know you value..so they get a reaction out of you...

you Got your Answers...no one guaranteed you would Like them any more than the responders liked your question..

anyone who has watched the last 6-12 months knows we have doubled the traffic we lost during the site change over.

It has taken a Lot of hard work from staff and members...when you question the results of that work...you May get Answers you don't Like...everyone knows what happens when you grab a tiger by the tail...

If you had posted something like that on other forums you wouldn't be sitting here discussing it with you feeling mildy offended...you would have been Flamed off the boards.

Maybe as one of the members suggested..it is not our contribution that you should be questioning..but your Own.....if there are things you don't Like @AFN..put your effort into changing them...you May find you like site a lot more if you feel like you Own a bit of it by the contribution you make..

I'm sure no one here bears a grudge and they will support you in your future endevours.
