AutoFlower Lighting - Do you follow the MIGRO philosophy?

Those have to be the most sativa leaves I have seen on a Kush strain, but I am pretty new at this. Nice plant regardless! :worship:

The "millions" of leaves I removed were much fatter fingers. I think these are so thin because I left the new growth. But, you never can tell. By now, this plant has become an experiment. Thankfully, the Mephisto Double Grape seems bred to be a trichome factory.

Sorry for posting my photos and stats in any thread other than my Grow Diary.

Between Bugbee, Chandra, and deBacco (sounds like a law firm, eh?), my thinking is to go to 900 PPFD.

Thank you for that info. So much information out there to confirm whatever you want to believe. We are supposed to follow science, but then science is an ever-evolving truth.

I am so thankful for a place to kick these ideas around and get serious input from people who love growing ... as the insurance commercial says, "We know a thing or two because we have seen a thing or two."

Yeah, MDG is on my list, but not in my stash yet. I don't see too many growers complaining about that one.

I just finished my second run of MDG. The brightest part of my canopy was about 850ppfd and my DLI with 24hour lights was over 60. I pulled almost 15 oz off of 3 plants. The GPW was just over 1.3, which was an increase of more than 30% over my previous run which was also 3 MDG grown with the same nutrients and in the same environment. The previous run I had the light higher and the DLI was about 40 and I got about 9.5 oz off 3 plants.

I should include light is a Sun System 315 CMH with Phillips bulb in 3 x 3 tent.

My first tent was a 2 x 4 from Mars. I had the SP3000 light. But, I wanted a bigger tent (mostly for the residual environmental equipment). Thus, I needed a new light. I was going to buy another SP3000 and double up. Instead, I bought a cheap 400W (4000 eq) from Amazon. It seems good. It has 2 Meanwell drivers and 4 small fans and it does light up the tent with great PAR/PPFD.

However, I am just not sure if I can trust the diodes for a "high-value" crop.

My gut says, get another SP3000 to pair up in my 4 x 4 and give my wife the 400w for the 2 x 4. It will be overkill for her, but at least I won't be worried about my frugalness being the missing link on the potential quality and yield.
