Autoflower experiment.

I will be growing a autoflower not sure which strain yet under total 72 watts of fluorescent for fun basically in a room like a house plant. Will post pictures later tonight. Anti e done this before?

My first couple of auto grows we're under about that much CFLs. Indoor growers have used florescent lights for decades. I think a big part of the surge in autoflowers is related to the timing of LED grow light development.

The ability to bloom under 20+ hours of light is what makes autos competitive in their short lives, so high efficiency lighting was pretty critical to their widespread popularity.

If all we had was HPS or CFLs, we probably wouldn't have ever left the lowrider phase.

I grow mine under 2/ 180 watt draw led So will be just for fun grow

I started my growing with a 4 ft flourescent in a closet over 13 yrs ago with miracle grow and lowryders....did a good enough job to get me hooked!
Thinking back to how simple it was and how little info was available and compare to how complex some seem to make it now, I'm glad to see the advances in every aspect....
I still start and veg everything under t5 florescent then move to a tent of led and cobs.
Beware, growing weed is additive!!!

This is my experiment light i ran into room issues in my tent so I decided to finish it till it dies (going on week 13) under my 72 watt ceiling lights

bigger better light/bigger pot/more expensive nutes etc. etc. yep ya can get a bigger plant but if its just a bit of bud you after even a windowsill will do :smoking: looks like you set for a nice lil harvest
