Lighting AutoCob, Auto Flower, megacrop thread.

These are my girls using MC, SC, BE, and their CalMag. They are looking great for the most part, but I do have some spots starting on some of the top leaves.

Do you think it's a potassium deficiency? Could it be light burn? The tops are pretty close to the light (12" ish), but I have a smaller plant in there that has the same thing going on and is nowhere near the lights.

How did everyone fix their problems with this? I've noticed a few people have brought this up in this thread, but I don't recall seeing a remedy.

I'm using a heavy tsp of MC, a half tsp of sweet candy, and a half tsp of bud explosion. Any help with this would be great!View attachment 969376 View attachment 969377
ere are a number of things that this could be. I’d be curious to know your media (soil, coco, DWC, etc.), environmental temperature and the pH of your nutrients. These are my suspicions. But have you posted in the infirmary yet?

I have not posted in the infirmary. It's been a while since I've had any problems lol.

I grow in coco, temp has been 70-75, humidity around 52% and my pH is at 6.0 (sometimes 5.9, sometimes 6.1).

I will say I haven't checked runoff, and I haven't been watering as much as I did in previous grows. I have been watering every 36 hours this grow. I don't think it's a salt buildup because the coco on the smaller plant I have in the tent is still damp when I water her.

I'll have to check pH on the runoff next time I water.

Too close to the light, imo. Same happened to me. I reduced feed a tad and raised lights. Resumed feed when progression stopped.

Took some time tonight to take my table out of my tent, giving the girls plenty of light distance. Measured runoff pH, and the bigger girls' runoff came in at 5.4 and 5.5. my official slightly uneducated guess is salt build up.

I will now start watering once a day again, instead of every 36 hours.

Thanks for the help everyone! Sorry I didn't post this in the infirmary instead, but I figured people would want closure now that we have all gone this far down the rabbit hole :crying:

They are starting to look much better. Thanks for the help everyone!

I don’t think I’d worry about the leaves at all. Look at these ladies!! This is fairly common in flower though. I think it’s a combination of the plants needing more nutrients and even more now because the lights are close. Deficiencies seem nearly impossible to correct or to stall in flower.
